my combined shipping cost 40$ plus 150$ duty, so 190$ total , so 95$ per item , CSC charges 60$ per hot toys shipping, so 35$ extra only for one item.
glad to hear the pack out was good , probs customs didnt open it then

Im talking about the price of the exclusive. Not shipping and handling. The MSRP price of $225 for the figure itself makes it worth everything.

This is just a one-off figure for which we have paid some amazing custom charges as we got it from SS who would not declare it as gift with a lower value. I believe that people who live in countries where they have to pay duty to import stuff, usually buy from other retailers who would listen to them. Else, our collection would have been half of what it is right now, with few people even opting out of this hobby.

Correct, all of my 1:6ths have been bough from unofficial dealers, and those shipped have been undervalued. wierdly Enterbay themselves agreed to undervalue when they sent me their GoD :lol

I havent paid a single rupee in customs fee for any 1:6th figure before this one... but Id say it was ok.. rather a customs fee than pay $150 and more above the retail price.

Your BB's pose is so awesome. Mine is in the same pose but the futzing on yours is crazy good.

Thanks Zach. :D

I'll have to check when I get to work, but MRM's head, which is bigger than HT heads (though more accurate to an actual head size) must make undersized Bale's sculpt look like a pinhead.

Yeah, there's no way I'd have that Joker on the same shelf as the new BW head.

Actually it's a bit of a problem with the custom BW head too. The HT head looks small on the shelf with him...

:clap Wow! Awesome Display Mag! Love the detolf+room light one.

Flash or no flash, the BB Bat's pose and everything looks damn good. The way you've draped the cape does the magic, I guess.

Didn't try or just given up on putting the clips around the neck :) Heard a lot of stories about how difficult it is with the new suit.

Thanks!

Regarding the clips: I haven't tried yet. And frankly I'm leaning toward not trying. My cape placement would not work with the clips in place as the holes are a lot further back than where I have the cape tucked in...

Holy crap, that Joker looks alive :horror

:lecture :panic:

This is it right here. RIGHT HERE!!

Great posing on your BB, Maglor. I copied it. :)

I have to say that I honestly don't get the love for that MRM sculpt. His laughing sculpt is fantastic, but I must be missing something with the last one.

Got this last nite and on initial inspection its as expected, the rubber was dented. How these people took the time to excessively wrap the figure in plastic AND not notice that is beyond me, I could see it before I even removed the plastic tray covers. Either HT has a problem hiring people with decent eye sight or they knew the problems and thought it wise to ship them out anyway. In any case we were taken for fools. I can give them the benefit of the doubt in the case of broken ankles and paint rub-off, its entirely plausible that none of those were easily noticeable or in full effect when these were boxed but the suit? No regard for the customer whatsoever if the consensus was that we would accept that.

Here's what I got:

Rubber Suit: $225 figure, $2 rubber(or free @ the clinic!) DENTED
BW Headsculpt: nowhere near the rubs I've seen just some really small shine spots that sort of look like brow sweat, could live with it if it were the only issue.
Right Ankle: looser than the left but not just hanging there, didn't feel anything broken or crunchy (yet) but when I get home I'll be more thorough.
Left Gauntlet: the first 2 "claws" are much closer aligned than the right one.

The arms seem to be good, no articulation problems though all I did was twist them up to a boxing stance. Looks like they really need to rethink their plastic wrap policy and try to use foam instead. Some of the parts that were wrapped definitely have shine scuffs.

Based on the way i'm reading the endless damage reports is it correct that if you have "broken" parts you'll get a destroy order and replacements will be sent but if your only gripe is the forehead scuff or the dented suit you'd have to return the whole figure and repurchase another gamble?

I ordered 12 of these! So now I have to unpack and inspect each item? That's It! I'm done with the entire "Toy" industry.:thud:

Just opened up my second one from Sideshow. First one was perfect. Happy to say my second is perfect as well. Ankles intact, no dent in the abs as far as i can tell, however a little shine on the forehead of Mr Wayne but I'm fine with that. Seems so cruel that alot of people had so many problems with one, and I got two that were perfect. :(

You lucky b_____d! :lol

Congrats on those perfect Bats dude! :hi5:

Sideshow got back to me almost immediately. Great, great, great customer service. I contacted them Friday, they asked me for pictures and I supplied them.

Monday they sent me an email stating that they were taking care of it and that I would receive a replacement body and boots (I only needed one but they said they're sending me both).

Just two days or ONE business day if you don't count the weekend.

Maybe I'm special? The only email I had to send was one that contained pictures. That's it.

No waiting at all.

I'm a glutton for punishment. If they up the limit to two per customer, I'll definitely buy another one. While I think their shipping habits are a bit shoddy, Sideshow has terrific customer service.

Congrats DiFabio . I hope you finally get a great Bats . You deserve it . Your a die hard Batman fan and Your sig has had Batman in it since i joined the Freaks . its only right .

I also would like to buy another one, this is not an exclusive anymore. Sideshow should allow previous buyers to get another one.
About the dent on the body, how severe is it? Can it be fixed manually? Somebody please post close-up pictures of the defect.
