:dunno

His are not upside down, the circles are on the top :dunno

Hmm... I don't mean that...

If they were switched left to right, they would still need to be spun around. Not flipped over, just spun around.... make sense? :lol

[Edit] The curved part of the clips should be up against the edge of the cowl. :exactly:

One side of the clips has an ever so slight curve to it that's supposed to go against the curve of the cowl.

Your curve side is not touching the cowl.

It's touching the air. :lol

Their all going to break sooner or later, that's why when I fixed my right foot I also did the left. I actually replaced the boot feet with Hot Toys bare feet. Wasn't easy and not for everyone, as one person left his boot all loose. But here's how I fixed mine. I turned the top of the boot all the down, almost inside out. Then pried out the boot foot very carefully and replace them with the barefeet.

Well I got the boot inside out and down to the plastic black boot inside. Man, that thing is really in there isn't it?! Mine is glued( pretty damn good might I add) to the sole of the boot. You say you just pried it out, was yours glued to the sole as well? If so how did you get it off safely without actually breaking the sole?

Yes it was, I worked the screwdriver under the bootfoot little by little, more from the side. Just kept pry and pushing while pulling with the pliers. That's why I said be careful not to break the sole. Take your time, you want to break the glue, it's just in a few spots. You can see on the clear bootfoot where the glue was by the black residue. Once you release the heel the front will be easier. More pushing then prying keep you from breaking the sole.

Ok, thanks. I'll give it a whirl. I took Maglor's advise and filed down the sides so it fits a little better.

Oh, and how long was your boot inside out like that? After I found out that taking the boot out wasn't gonna be that easy I put it right side in again to avoid any permanent defect's.

Just long enough for me to remove the old bootfeet and put in the HT feet. No more than 2-3 minutes each.

It doesn't bother me enough to want to pull the boot inside out again. I can live with it. Just knowing that I'll never have to worry about the boots breaking again is fine with me.

Wow. 2-3 minutes!? I've been working at this thing for more like 10! I mean it is really on there! I can't get enough of the glue off. I got about half way through the heel and gave up. I put the boot right side in again and it's still fine. The shape that is. It's not easy.
