Wow. 2-3 minutes!? I've been working at this thing for more like 10! I mean it is really on there! I can't get enough of the glue off. I got about half way through the heel and gave up. I put the boot right side in again and it's still fine. The shape that is. It's not easy.

No, it was scary, but then the thought pop into my mind, 'What do I have to lose, it's broken and will need replacing anyways.' So I just went for broke. Once I got the glue to release it wasn't so bad. Like I said, I worked my way around the heel, first the left side and the the right, then just shoved the screwdriver under the heel from the back all the way to the front. Listening to the glue crack gritting my teeth, lol.

:lol Now that's what I want to hear. I guess I'll try more later. This heel will not beat me damn it.

No way dude. No way am I getting this thing off without breaking it. You say that the glue is only in a few spots, right? Well mine looks like it's almost completely sealed to the sole. I've even banged the end of the handle of the screw driver into concrete to push it further up and it gets a little further but not cracking. Like it's solid plastic. This sucks. It's a great idea but I can't get it to work. I wonder if it's only with that one boot and not with the other. I'm scared to try. I feel if I keep trying to pry it off it will break in pieces...then I'll really be ____ed.

Sorry to hear that. You can see I did it to both boots and they had two different type of bootfeet. I had a hold of the heel while I pried with the scewdriver. More of a sliding action, sliding forward as I broke the glue. Don't know how else to explain it. I know how you feel about cause more damage.

Yeah, I wish my camera was still in working order so I could get a decent picture. I tried my camera phone but it just doesn't do the job. I'm assuming some boot feet are more attached than others. I really wanted this to work. Oh well, I'll just have to deal with it.

Fiend, if you do break it I have an extra broken boot I can send you. SS sent me a new one (boot) after mine broke.

Really? Is it the right or left boot? Mine is the right. PM me and let me know what you want for it because if you have a right boot then I'll just dig right in and do my best/worst. :lol

Now that I turned mine inside out it won't stay on at all anymore. Before, yeah the boot was broken but the it stuck to the rubber on the leg if I had to transport it. The only reason I wanted to fix it because I wanted to display him without the stand.

How 'bout the hefty price of free? Just PM me if your's breaks and I'll send it out to ya on monday. :D

Ok, I finally achieved toylions mod but not without a price. The right boot has a bit of a worn look. Considerably on the back and top of the boot. Like toylion stated above your going to want to get the boot inside out in one swoop to limit wear or rub. I will tell you it will not be easy. My issue is I turned it inside out 3 times that's why it's so worn. Top of the boot is stretched a bit too. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it or not. After I got the heel off it was much easier getting the rest off. But let me tell you that heel was a real son of a _____. I did sand down the sides of the feet to give it a better fit. I took a pic of what the foot should look like when ready. It's just about perfect too, no empty space between the boot and foot and the foot isn't pushing out on the boot. My camera is on the fritz so I only had the camera phone. Here's my small contribution:

:clap Glad you were able to get that bootfoot out. Once the heel is out the rest is easy. And yes you have to do it all pretty quick. But after you've done it once it get's easy. My right foot isn't as stretched as the left. But now that you know what to do people are selling broken boots that can use this mod.

first of all, I apologize for my poor English.

Second, TOYLION, You're a damn genius, thank you, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

I made your mod

My Method: using 2 tweezers I DO NOT roll up the boot, at least not much. and I can remove the base of the foot without violating the rubber.

just be patient and the foot will loose.

dont forget to protect the exterior of the boot using a napkin or some kind of cloth. The tweezer may damage it or loose some joints of the ruber. PAY ATTENTION!!!.

modification works, and works better if you also change the foot peg.

before I learned of this modification, I tried other ways to repair the boot that resulted in a slight deformation of the rubber. To fix this problem, I'm thinking of making a cut to imitate the ziper of the original boots and make the boot fit firmly to the leg. Check my last photo (original Batman begins boot).

again, thanks Toylion, thanks to you my Bat can stand up agains crime. :yess:
