I received one of those emails from Sideshow at around 3:00pm est.
In short, I'm gonna cut portions out and stitch the ends back together. You'll see. 
I had the same idea. I was going to take out 2 middle sections and sew the ends together. However, on closer inspection I realized that this meant the neck hole would become way too small, so I abandoned the idea.
The only way around that problem would be to cut on an angle and not follow the seams of the cape. I think that would look like ass though. :/

I have something in mind where I'm going to try make my own neck hole. Sort of extending it with with another material. I haven't worked out the kinks yet but when I do I'll post pictures. My wife is very handy with sewing, stitching and the like so we're throwing ideas around. If I can't do it than I have a new cape to use if anything goes wrong with the one I have. I just have to find the time because this will not be an easy task. Oh and I do intend to follow the seams. That would indeed look like ass if I didn't.
Anyway, I thought I heard a ways back of someone spray painting the stock gauntlets to a gloss finish like the Takara ones, how does that look? Does anyone have any pics?
I look forward to seeing what you come up with. If it looks good, I may still do it. Documenting pics would be very much appreciated.
I swear I just saw a picture with spray gloss gauntlets, but I can't find it for the life of me...
Are these the stock ones painted? They look like they don't have the curve of the Takara gaunlets.

Yeah, those are definitely the Hot Toys gauntlets with something to make them shiny.

I found it in this very thread. They look a little coarse. Like they don't have a smooth texture after being painted or whatever he used.

Yah completed auctions. One I was watching which was unopened finished the day before yesterday for $392.00 plus shipping with like 21 bids on it.

Holy cow. Man, this figure is popular. It took the T2 T-800 a couple years to reach $300 and this has only been out since last October.
