Wish i knew too this is my first time ordering from SSC site. Can anyone answer this? My status also says shipping soon but I dont believe i got charged yet

You may not get a notification right when your card is charged, but you should get one, at least, soon thereafter (along with an e-mail from UPS with shipping info.). If you live in California, you will probably be among the last to get yours shipped, because HT seems to start shipping to the east coast first and works it's way west toward its shipment center (I guess so that folks in CA won't always get theirs much sooner than anyone else). I live in Louisiana, though, and am not usually in the first batch of shipped figures. My Batman hasn't shipped yet.

You may or may not receive an email letting you know that your card has been charged...sometimes I've received one, sometimes not. The best thing to do is check your bank statement online or call in to customer service and ask. Once your card is charged, you should receive a notice soon after from UPS (or other shipping service) letting you know that the shipping info has been entered. Then your order will show as shipped on the website...my advice: call and check. Hope that helps

I guess it doesn't work that way, then. That was what I picked up from a few recently shipped items where folks were discussing when they were shipped. Mine always seems to ship a few days after most everyone else (and takes a week to get here). Maybe they're shipping based on when orders were placed.

In any case, I wouldn't worry so much about calling personally. Sideshow will let you know one way or the other when it ships or that it can't ship without additional CC info., etc.

We in California are always getting screwed. We pay a buttload in taxes and still get charged $15 in shipping when we live so close to SS.
