I think everyone will be happy with the figure once he finally arrives. That seems to be the case with Superman so I'm hoping for the same here.

Although, Superman was right on the money from the get go. They've also had one release to improve upon.

This batman still needs work and is only the first attempt at this design

To be fair, had this film been a little less divisive, and Lex been a little less awful, we almost certainly would have seen figures of two or three more characters.

....who else is there to make? Would it have been nice to get Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent? Sure, but would it have sold? Unless it's a two pack, most likely not.

Lois? Perry? Doomsday? Whose to say we won't get doomsday. We didn't get iron monger and whiplash until years later.

We're getting the trinity. That's all that matters.

You've just listed several there. Had this film been more popular, figures of such characters would have been made. As it is we're just getting the barebones.

And yeah, they could make more down the line. But big characters in the film like Lex and Doomsday would have been put out now to 'cash in on the hype'.

I don't think them making figures has anything to do with popularity of the film. If that were the case, why don't we have more pepper Potts? Or the kid from IM3. Where's Rhodes in his civil outfit? The OTHER mandarin? Why haven't they announced King t'challa? What about Steve Rogers CW civil outfit?

We all know Lois and perry are NOT sought after figures. Even if lex was universally liked, he still wouldn't get a figure. There's NOTHING compelling with his design. I mean if they ever produced one, I'll sure as hell get him, but he's not a priority.

Dude, is this one of your stealth posts on how much you hate the movie? Cmon man, stop.

:lol:lol:lol

How could you have possibly come to that conclusion :rotfl

Yeah...I wonder how right?

The only other figures I can see them potentially making from this film would be a BD Armored Bats or a Doomsday, and I think even those are more likely a no than a yes.

I don't see them making a Lex Luthor, Clark Kent or a Bruce Wayne (essentially civvie versions of their superhero alter ego). Civvie versions of characters generally don't sell that well, even in the MCU (A1 Bruce Banner, for instance). I'm guessing that's probably why whenever they do release civvie versions, the majority of the time they're in some sort of combo pack that at least includes a figure of the superhero (Steve Rogers and SS Captain America, BR Batman and Bruce Wayne, TDK Armory set).

When you think about it, in my opinion, Doomsday isn't even really a major villain per se being that he's one dimensional. The only purpose he serves in the storyline is to kill Superman, nothing more. I personally think a Faora figure from MoS would potentially have more popularity than a BvS Doomsday.

I agree- hope they make this, too and Irishjedi says 1 or 2 more new figures to come from BvS(i am thinking 1/4 Supes and Bats) but no more new figures from BvS. We have SS ready to go and WW and JL next year so I'm pretty sure they may be done with BvS

Just out of curiosity, how big would an accurately sized 1/6 Doomsday be?
The only size reference is when Superman is holding Doomsday still so the bomb hits him, and his head alone is about half of Supe's size.
I think he would be a lot bigger than the Hulk figure (if they didn't shrink him down).

Doomsday would be ridiculously large in 1/6, I certainly wouldn't be interested in something that size.

It's a shame they didn't do Superman/Clark Kent and Batman/Bruce Wayne 2 packs, they would have sold well that way.

The exclusive versions were also very weak. Instead of a lump of Kryptonite with Superman they should have held back on announcing an exclusive till after the film had been released and had the Kryptonite Spear instead.

Well, as long as Hot Toys gets Batman and Wonder Woman right I will be good. Although, the Bat Creature would be a cool bonus, it's not going to happen.
Doomsday was going to be a long shot with it's size but given how divisive this version is I can't see it happening now. I think we will be lucky if the Batmobile gets made. If Suicide Squad does well it could really help.

At one point, I wanted to sculpt a movie version doomsday to use with a custom version bvs superman; according to scale I would have used the 33 inch jakks superman as a basis for the size.

COME ON! I need an Affleck sculpt!!!!
