A little disappointed that HT didn't add more to this figure now that we've seen there's 3 different Batmans.

I think they should have done a couple of sculpts, had the the glowing red eyes as one version. Perhaps even a different base.

This movie looks a lot more Batman than Superman, which really shouldn't be the case imo.

The lighter blue accents don't appear nearly as obnoxious as they do in the promo shots.

And yep, this figure should've come with another headsculpt considering there are three Bats, a signal and a big honkin' vehicle.

I think they've been stating for awhile that this film was going to be centered more around Batman than Supes. Makes sense though, being that they pretty much have to get the audience acquainted with this version of Batman and I think DC is also really pushing for Batman to be their marquee character.

I'd be willing to wager that the JL film will probably even be centered around him the most.

Mmmm yeah I find Batman a little too overexposed these days, on par with Iron Man for Marvel.

I like the character, but it just never ends with the constant reboots.

Yeah, agreed.

Despite Batman seeming to be more popular as of late, I think Supes is traditionally their marquee character. The creation of Supes pretty much spawned subsequent superheroes, even with Marvel. Supes is to superheroes as the Rose Bowl is to college bowl games: "The Granddaddy of Them All".

I think that's why people seem to tend to vet Superman films a little more scrupulously than any other superhero film. He's one of those characters that you absolutely have to get him right being that he is almost seen as a messianic figure for some.

Don't be such a pessimistic fans. Snyder and WB DO care for Superman and they still and will always considered and held him as the center of all their super heroes. The fact clearly shows that Superman gets his own solo film first and be the privilege to lead and be the foundation of their cinematic universe.

And i won't be jealous of Batman having more screen time this time around, because they need to establish this new incarnation, yet have to shared his story with Superman, Lex, Wonder Woman and whatnot. And that will be their short coming if not treated the characters in the same manner as the way MCU treated their character in Avengers movie.

All this line is incredible. I said in the armoured batman thread that that figure looks like a 1:1 replica. It's the same here!

BvS superman is superior in many way.

Just compare those two, BvS ver proportion is much better, cape much nicer. Suit texture also simply much better

You know, despite the likeness issues, I really like the idea of their giving him the angry face here. Not just because it fits with the tone of the movie, but because it would help further distinguish him from Reeve Superman. Reeve looks pleasant and calm. This Superman isn't that, and probably won't be for much of the film. The more 'roided look is also a better representation of modern superhero movie characters. So, it would be interesting to have the two of those on a display together.

More like Captain America or Spider-Man because Iron Man is another league of his own

Didn't realize how bad the MOS sculpt is. It's been a long time since I looked at MOS and passed on it. It looks nothing like Cavill.

Why is Supes' bulge so...."big"? I mean, no other figure has its **** standing out so much. Not Spider-Man, not Batman, nobody. Only Supes. Guess he truly has a Super-****...

The only improvement that is significant for me on this are the newly designed wrist piping. Much better and proportionate to the figure. It wasn't a buy for me before but now I'm undecided. Depending on the price of the 2 pack, then maybe.

The head sculpt is amazing. The only thing slightly off is his eyes.

I don't see the problem here. Though I'd hoped for a laser eye head sculpt since there are no real accessories

You can do that yourself if you have a dremel and some LEDs.

After all the Toy Soul pics and the above video, I think this version is superior to MOS version in every way.

For some reason the promo pics didn't do the figure justice for me

This figure is utterly amazing looking.

I find it humorous that literally in less than one week, there has been three different changes of the general opinion regarding the sculpt. First, it was hoping that they don't recycle the MoS sculpt and make an entirely new sculpt because he looks slightly different in BvS. Then the new sculpt was revealed, then the opinion changed to saying they would have been better off recycling the MoS sculpt because the likeness is too different from the MoS sculpt. Now, it seems the opinion is that this sculpt is better than the MoS one.
