1/6 Hot Toys BvS: Dawn of Justice - Superman

Hi Guys,

I just got this figure from HK.
But I think I got two issues, but not sure, so I'm asking you guys who already own this figure.

Don't have a camera ready at the moment, so I'll try to describe as good as possible.

1. I think the white part which holds the figure's head/neck in place inside the box left a mark on the left side of it's neck, it seems shinier than the rest of its neck, is there a way to clean it up?

2.The right boot, where the leg ends and the foot/footpeg begins, it seems on the inside at the back (you can feel there's a thicker (sculpted? edge), there is something sharp, that I believe is about to poke through it's fabric, I dont know if I can remove the boots to see if maybe the end of the leg has a sharp edge, and I am quite scared that it might tear the fabric.

Hopefully someone knows what I mean, I'll try to make some pics soon

Thanks for the pics with TDK Batman, fellas. I really need to get my hands on one to go with my BvS Superman when he comes in.

Not like Affleck's Batman? Will probably cost you more to get hold of a TDK trilogy Batman.

As I know it can be removed by wet cotton , I have seen same problem in some review on youtube

You can get the armory Batman for a decent price still. People sell them on the Facebook BST groups on occasion.

I initially wasn't planning on buying this figure since i already had 2 MoS versions, the changes in the costume was minimal and the face sculpt didn't appeal to me. However, as the in-hand pics came in I realized that the new technique of HT having those muscled pads on the shoulders, abs and thighs really emphasized the musculature underneath the cloth and was really a great improvement and seemed closer to the movie depiction. The articulation was also better than I had thought it would be. I am still not a 100% sold on the head sculpt but that seemed aggravated only when it is blown up. Looking at it at regular scale makes it look better.

Looking forward to adding it to my collection.

I thought I heard on this thread a few pages back that June 10th (two weeks from this Friday) is the rumored date. Not sure which distributor they were referring to, but it sounds about right in general.

Not like Affleck's Batman? Will probably cost you more to get hold of a TDK trilogy Batman.

I liked Affleck fine in BvS, but prefer Bale's Batman. And yeah, I know about the cost. The cheapest I've seen a DKT Batman is like $399.99.

I like Affleck's portrayal the most, but I like Bale's TDK and TDKR suit the best.

in general I'm not Batman's fan but Affleck is perfect Batman and costume design is perfect. I don't like Bale's costume its too old style for me. If I had money I would buy Batffleck

This figure is leagues ahead of the MoS version in terms of quality and detailing. When you put them together it's really noticeable.

I also prefer Bale's Batman, but I just don't think he looks right with figures from outside of Nolan's world. Will probably end up getting one version or another of Batfleck, will decide when the production photos are out.

Really? I think the BvS costumes are way more old style than the ones in TDK trilogy. The standard suit in particular is very retro, and even the armoured version has a classic look to it. The Bale suits were more modern day military stuff.
