Super Freak
Sweet. I'll be hitting you up once the holidays are over. These are so much better than the HT ones. N it looks to have the street/gravel look to it. I'll hit you up later with pricing on PM.

Am a Freak. Can confirm they look like good alternatives. Thanks, Mike! Hopefully these make for a good alternative for some Freaks.
Just opened this up and plopped him on the stand. Great figure! I'm surprised at just how much better he is than the MOS version. Glad I didn't pass. HT finally got a cape right too. More and better pics later.

Those are awesome Coco! Is that like a rooftop rain effect?
Just got my Superman... Wow, truly an incredible figure. Hot Toys never cease to impress. Can't believe I had passed on that.
I'll go as far as to say, he's even more impressive than all Batman figures (which I absolutely love) from this Bat V Supes line, and truly a must have.
The Regular Batman and this Superman really compliment each other, they HAVE to be side by side, it's just mindblowing how well done those figures are.
What really amazes me with this Superman is that he doesn't come with much (only a few interchangeable hands, and the Kryptonite piece), his outfit is very simple and yet... he has much more shelf presence in my collection than Star-lord or BD T-800 (from T2), even though those figures have much more details going on them. Maybe it's because the colors are brighter.
That being said most of my HT have "dark" colors, I don't own a lot of shiny figures, though I do have the diecast Robocop and one Iron Man, so that may be why Superman stands out.
Anyway, awesome figure, totally recommend it, it was well worth it!
Not sure if I'd say he's more impressive than the Affleck Batman figures but definitely on a par and underrated in comparison. I just have the regular version so no kryptonite piece but Supes doesn't need accessories to look complete. It's a near perfect figure in terms of likeness and the suit, especially that cape.
Interesting you mention the T2 figures, I think they almost look undersized compared to these BVS figures. Cavill was big for this movie but surely not as big as an early 90's Arnold.
Hot Toys just seem to be getting better, you can see the evolution from older figures to these more recent ones. The Leto Joker sculpt is as impressive as this line. Can't wait to see the Wonder Woman, the other Justice League members and Harley Quinn figures.
Agree about the Kryptonite accessory. I still have mine displayed with the figure, but it does slightly pale in comparison to the Tech Cowl and the Toys-Era spear.
Edit: Although when you look at pictures of the actual movie prop (which I'd never seen before), it does look relatively close actually. Close enough at least, for being a mere 1/6 scale accessory.
It's really nothing special. Just a semi transparent piece of green plastic. Someday I plan to put together a business Luthor fig, I'll probably give it to him to hold.I've never seen it in hand, didn't come with my figure, so can't really comment. I would feel guilty about sticking a big piece of Kryptonite in front of him though [emoji38]
