So it's not just me, I didn't want to rain on the thread. She looks great , but the head sculpt is alittle bit off imo. I would still love this figure but I was going to wait till the new movie version drops to decide

I understand that you guys feel that the HS is abit off, for me, it's already an amazing headsculpt..
Maybe I am satisfied too easily.
I am super glad and delighted that it is now actually having resemblance to Gal compared to the proto..

You really don't need to defend any side. It's just an opinion. If you like it, good for you. It's a discussion thread that allows for any opinion/idea/comment.

In that last pic (if taken up close and/or with a cell phone) the face will seem more elongated because of natural barrel distortion on the camera. The pics before don't show the face looking as stretched. I've had the same issue photographing 1/6 scale - the head and lower legs will always appear lengthened if you're not the right distance from the subject. Sometimes, the midsection will even have constrained proportions because of it.

Overall, the figure looks museum quality. The body and armor look amazing and the head definitely looks better/more realistic than the prototype. The only nitpick I have is with the open mouth and stark white teeth that remind me of HT Rey. Still a more-than-worthy purchase, in my opinion.

They need to quit with the open mouth showin teeth thing, it looks ridiculous on Rey and equally ridiculous here...why not just do a fully closed mouth? She'd look great like that.

The open-mouth look on Rey was terrible, because she also had relaxed eyebrows. So she just ended up looking wide-eyes/surprised.

So I'm really glad they fixed the eyebrows on this figure. I'd prefer to not have an open mouth at all, but at least with the furrowed brows she looks fierce instead of... whatever it was her face was doing on the prototype.

We've already seen good pics of the new sculpt further back in the thread. Don't let one average pic cloud your judgement.

Not a fan of rooted hair either, ideally future versions of her have sculpted hair. Overall I love the look of the improved figure though.

So literally within a weekend, are we going from thinking the new, apparently reworked sculpt looking fantastic and looking much more like Gal, to it now being average looking and not looking much like Gal?

Just so I'm not mistaken, is everyone still referring to the same sculpt that's in these pictures, correct? The same sculpt that literally a few days ago when these pictures were initially shared, people were raving about and drooling over? It's now no good after a few days based on one picture from a poor angle?

OSR founder loves to play with words when replying to his followers. His teasing comments so far are accurate. Few days ago he said "the next release is going to be BIG!". I guess that makes it neither Harley nor WW. Also, when that release would be was not hinted.

Great post SilverStar, those pictures made me go from not being sure wether to collect it to pre-ordering straight away. Everything looks great, aside form the hair being improved for me, the muscle definition in the thighs and her sculpt look fantastic - no way does that one picture undermine all those previous pictures.

To be honest, most Hot Toys having their photos taken by people in general makes them all look awful. There's no way you can judge this based on that one picture, especially as all those others indicate a much improved final version.

OSR doesn't have a clue... Their release "predictions" are about as reliable as everyone else's.
Unless it is info directly received from Secret Base, it is all rumor.

And yeah, the freaks in this forum can go from happy to losing their **** in 0.2 seconds.
