I don't let reviewers dictate what I buy as my mind is already made up. I watch their reviews mainly to vicariously live through them to hold me over until my figure arrives.

Our own Michael Crawford is a great reviewer, he makes his problems with a figure known to all. He really pulls no punches.

I know what you mean. If it's something I know for sure I want in my collection, I'm getting it regardless of what reviews say. If it's something I'm on the fence about, a good or bad review may push me over the edge to either side.
Finally, someone who speaks english! :)

I personally can't wait for this, I think they've done a great job, sure the second version will be better, but at the moment for me the armour is great, as is the body. The sculpt is pretty good, looking even better with the hair back. Either way as a first foray into Wonder Woman, they've done a good enough job for me to be excited to get her. I just hope the shield and sword are die cast!

My sentiments as well about the figure in general, and especially about the shield and sword. The sword on AWE Jack Sparrow was die-cast and that was an early MMS figure, so I see no reason why this sword shouldn't be die-cast either. Same for the shield, with the Captain America shields being die-cast.

Substitute Dodgson with Hot Toys. :lol

Now this is what I'm talking about :clap

Man, I really want to pose my Batman holding the grenade launcher with two hands again, but I'm extremely wary of the suit potentially fusing together at the inner elbow. I don't think it will, as the suit on mine isn't sticky at all, but it's still in the back of my mind. Consequently, I just have him in a static pose with him holding it at his side in one hand as if he's preparing to hold it with two hands.

Can't be 100% but pretty sure the sword is plastic. Watching the chinese review with the subtitles they commented on how the sword had no weight to it. Die-cast would feel heavier you'd assume.

You'd think, but the Jack Sparrow AWE sword had no weight to it and it was a die-cast blade. Then again, Gamora's long sword is plastic and I can't recall if the blades of Drax's knives are plastic or die-cast off the top of my head.

Just make the shield be die-cast, at least. :lol

Cool, lets hope so.

I remember Robocop came with both a plastic gun and a die-cast gun but can't remember the reasons for that. I think every other figure I own has plastic accessories.

I think one was for use in his holster while one was for use for him to hold. At least, that's how I've done it before.

The rubber body scares me so I won't be getting this, but it looks terrific. I'm also pleasantly surprised that the costume is as bright as it is. I suspect there won't be another WW in this costume until a WW sequel is produced.

Many of the Predator figures also have die-cast wrist blades, might I add. As are Thor's Mjolnirs. It seems like it's hit or miss though being that Gamora's long sword is plastic, as I mentioned. So I'm not sure what their thought process is on what determines whether or not they choose to make a metal based weapon plastic or die-cast.

The shield though to me has no excuse not to be die-cast with Captain America's shields being die-cast, as mentioned. Which might I add are also relatively light for being die-cast.

Based on ToysTV review, the sword is indeed non-diecast. i believe HT made that decision looking at this Figure is quite a thin one. Having a diecast sword might be too heavy for her to hold on in certain poses. This is the same why Robocop at 2 guns.
The diecast gun is meant to be in the thigh holster..... The plastic one is on hand.. :)

To some that say they can watch the video review before deciding on the figure, good for you... Unfortunately, here, hero characters are usually sold out before it's released, the only way to secure a figure is paying 25% deposit.. So, unless the figure is really that terrible until it warrants me to let go of my deposit, i am getting the figure.. :)

Good point, that's quite possibly the reason. Would explain why Gamora's sword is also plastic. However, as I mentioned earlier, the sword on AWE Jack Sparrow has a die-cast blade and it barely has any weight to it, and I believe the blade on the sword for the OST Angelica figure is die-cast also. Then again, the blades on those swords are extremely thin.

:hi5: these are great

:rotfl

Although based on the events of CW, Tony is the one I think that needed a Lasso of Truth around him. :lol
