If you don'tt like this figure, you can always buy the Iron Man version 32131231 !

For ONLY 500$ !

Lol, I personnally find this Wonder Woman "good", but it's true that the training version which is just a prototype look better... But I don't know, on certain pictures she look incredible, and on other pictures she look weird.

I don't know, I preorder the figure so it's too late, but I preorder the training version and if a solo version come out, I will buy this too... Probably in 2020 with all of the future report ! :p

A few questions.
First is the shoulder strap already on or do we have to put it on?
Second in Batman v Superman her strap is over her left shoulder am I right?
I thought in Wonder Woman when she climbs out of the trenches it was over her right shoulder?
Unless I'm wrong?
Any help would be welcomed!

BvS is on her left,
WW solo, it's on her right....

for me its just the mouth. i dont understand why they keep trying these kind of things.
if you cant do realistic good looking open mouths with visible teeth, then maybe dont do it?
make some prototype tests in your garage
and wait until its good enough.
but dont try it on your 300 dollar product line. just make some nice painted closed lips.
there is no need for sculpture experiments.
why and how would this open mouth with 2 gigantic front teeth improve the figure?

You won't see the teeth once you have her diplayed. :lol These are closeup's on a tiny 1/6 head.

Haha! It's kind of the opposite to the BvS Superman. Frankly if anyone who bought that Superman figure is complaining about the Wonder Woman sculpt, they should take a look at a picture of Henry Cavill, and see if that changes their opinion.

So you are saying likeness on both this sculpt is no worse than the likeness on the SupermanBVS one?

The training sculpt proto has the same expression with visable teeth so obviously they can do it.

Well I guess they were trying to either copy the mouth on the training sculpt or they reworked this sculpt just before they made the training one and we're only successful at perfecting the look after they sculpted that. The other reason is that the company probably didn't recognize it as a major flaw like so many do.

Only 500? Wow I think I will buy a few of them, no such thing as having too many Iron Man figures. :lol

I see what you are saying since it's a proto the final product might not turn as good, which is certainly a possibility. However, the final product sculpt of this figure turned out better than the proto, so the product training sculpt could go either way.

I'm telling you, I can't wait until everyone has this in hand and it becomes the greatest thing since sliced bread and the sculpt is wonderful.....:lol

Looks like you can take the strap off which is good so you can adjust the look on the body

Someone photoshopped the training head on this figure..IDK..not feeling it :dunno

Right now the training version is only a prototype. The release is in like one year.
So these official photos are just a look at how HT thinks it might look in the end. That doesnt mean that it will turn out exactly like that.
The teeth looked way better on the WW prototype head
and its not the first time that prototype pictures are looking better than the actual final product.
I know a bunch of HT Star Wars figures that dont look like the first official pictures.
In fact most of all the prototype pictures (doesnt matter which company - Mezco, Play Arts Kai, HT ...) are looking better than the final product.

BvS WW does not fall into this category because they changed the face completely.
And we dont know if the training version will look like it does on the photos that we have right now.

But its not though... With BvS Batman/Superman, there was a clear difference once final product came out. This one is just terrible. From the terrible head sculpt to the shiny body..

I'd still take this sculpt

Over this PT anytime

So hope they don't reverse it on the final product of the training sculpt

Ah, I see you joined SSF this month.

Just wait until people start receiving it in hand. It's like clockwork that the tide changes and people start thinking it's an awesome figure and that it looks way better in hand than it initially looked in the photos.

Terrible? I think that *may* be hyperbolic. I've watched the reviews and photos coming out, and so far I'm seeing the common HT phenomenon of a likeness that comes and goes with lighting and angles.

It's not a homerun but the rendering isn't 'terrible', leaving it up to the personal discretion of the buyer. Some people are good with a recognizable rendering, others want a dead-on version.

The shine on the body is what raises questions for me; it seems more or less pronounced in different shots.

Not ready to call it 'terrible' at this juncture. It may be ... 'sub-optimal'*?

*Splitting hairs is my *real* hobby. ;)

And that's were it might be an issue with supply and demand as it was with Batfleck :lecture

LOL okay I will wait. Everyone has different likes/dislikes so its cool people like the figure. I think what put me off this figure was seeing their training WW sculpt. HT could have done way better with this one.
