Great discussion here guys..
But end of the day, Hot Toys is a profit making company...

They have clearly mentioned that she comes with 17 points of articulation.. I believe the rubber body that they introduced, it's a new way to provide a more accurate depiction of the character.

Back to the analogy of buying a car. In an ideal world, we want a nice cool looking car with high power but low fuel consumption. The reality is, this will not happen until we are technologically able to do so.

To summarize, it's up to you, to buy or not to buy.
HotToys will say, 'Hey, we release a rubber figure and everyone is still buying, good, let's continue making.'

HotToys will only look at the demand on the figure, noises about the figure is 2ndary, until it's impacting the actual demand.

Just my 2 cents.

Personally, I am worried that the figure will crack after a couple of years. Sad, but that's the fact.
But that will be a later story, now I want this figure.
Maybe down the road I can earn more to get another one..

Man, now that is a great pic

Great pic, yes!

Great figure? No!

So far, I'm pretty underwhelmed with everything I see. Don't get me wrong, I should have her within two weeks and bought her to complete the trinity, but come on:

-poor articulation? Check! (Granted, even HT said so, it wasn't a surprise)
-crappy, fragile body? Check! Not only HT can't seem to get something as good as phicen for twice, if not three time the price, and in the end, it's not even a seamless body but a half seamless torso and seamless legs.
-crappy hs? Check! Beautiful, a bit haggard face that looks nothing like Gadot.

For the price point and HT rep, I really did expect better. I hope I'll change my opinion once in hand, I often do, but here, so far? Baaaaad!

Love the figure. I misspeak towards the end of the video when talking about extending the leg 90 degrees, I mean "bend" 90 degrees. Who knows where the hell else I misspoke. It's been a long day. Lol.

Wow, the likeness is looking stronger here than in most of the pics I've seen so far. And you actually got the hair looking pretty nice as well.

No problem man. I'll be taking more photos over the next few days. She has a great presence on the shelf.

:yess: She looks glorious in that still there! Gonna watch now.
Epic trinity pose.

Good review I am Toys! I think she looks great, maybe not spot on but I can Gal Gadot when watching the videos. Also your videos have been a good source to help me decide on whether to buy a figure or not. I hadn't even given the Deadshot figure a second thought til I watched your review. So thanks !

Thanks guys.

Chris (I am Toys) another great video. I enjoy the conversational tone accompanied with some insight very different style.

I tend to stay away from HT first efforts knowing a later version will come along fixing the issues from first attempt.

- I'm not sold on the body durability...the look is fantastic.
- collar bone appears to be a bit low making the neck and torso appear extended
- hair...side shots show how no weight to long hair look more Barbie'ish.
- head sculpt isn't quite there enough yet.

I suspect by JL time she will get better just look at training armor version...nailed the sculpt on that one

And queue the Wonder Woman theme music.

Great review -- as usual, your lighting is on point. It's the best I've seen the figure look, and the lighting clearly helps along with some good subtle posing. Your Snowspeeder Luke review accomplished the same thing. That didn't induce me to pull the trigger, but I'll actually consider this one now.

It's not quite all there, but I'd put it on par with say, Avengers Black Widow, which I've been happy with. Future upgrades always loom as a possibility in this hobby, so I'm not factoring that in too much given a scale of years to release...

Yeah man. HT will undoubtedly improve with future versions.

you see this picture says it all for me personally .
and its why im happy to buy despite the limitations of the format

it looks great ,i could never have dreamed in my wildest dreams that id be able to create a display like this

not in the 60s when i first saw adam west's batman

not in the 70s when i saw chris reeve,s superman

not in the 80s when i saw keatons batman ...well okay you all get the idea:lol

all of these have come to pass and more besides

this is the reason im happy to buy and work within the limitations of the figures and enjoy them while i can ,and for what they are ,and can do

and not for what they can't do

also the custom cape on batman shows you dont necessarily have to settle for them the way they come out of the box ,you can "improve" them if your able

not trying to change anybodies mind just saying how i feel about them :duff

Seems she's a bit of a mixed bag... I can't say I love the sculpt as much as I hoped I would and the body is so restricted. I want the a great WW figure; but I'm concerned about the longevity of the body and also fear they'll release a better looking one for the stand alone movie.
