I usually don't take sides, but I'm rooting for the Hot Toys seamless body regarding endurance. I like Phicen/TBL but their offerings aren't consistent. Yoy can buy two (2) of the same Phicen bodies at once from same source and one will last while the other deteriorates fast. So yes, I hope what HTS released with WW continues/ has staying power. But my instinct is that no company has yet mastered the art & science of the 1/6 scale seamless body.
Has Sideshow started shipping her out yet? I know sometimes when they still say pre-order they usually end up shipping them out.
JL version is the best
I agree. Her face is slightly wider which doesn't make her look like a Barbie any more.
I don't know if it is because it is wider or not, or if it actually looks more like the actress or not, but I completely agree that it looks far more like a real person rather than a Barbie.
The sculpt used for the JL figure looks good but still better on the training armour version. The figure it was made for with the hair combed back.
Hopefully the two regular armour figures to come, WW and JL, both get new sculpts and at least one of them with sculpted hair.
Looking at that film picture Gals face is wider, or at least the proportion of height vs width is lower. So the JL version could be the closest of the lot.
That is the JL sculpt though. They just stuck the rooted hair over it.
I imagine when the full prototype is revealed we'll see an entirely new sculpt. Same way I can't imagine them keeping the BvS head on the JL Superman when they finally put that up for order. Just placeholders.
