This is my only gripe. I think the likeness is there, but the attitude, isn't.

Overall, I think she looks great though. Once of my more anticipated figures.

Regarding the body, the new Phicen looks like a great fit for Gadot's physique.

I see enough in Gal to get this figure. If the new HS from the solo movie is that much better, I'll just look towards eBay to buy that HS. Either way I'll be completing the Trinity that much sooner.

Looks great and the only figure I've seen that actually has the darker movie accurate red shade to the armor. I also love the weathering on the armor.

I still wonder how the shoulders ( if any ) can articulate

I don't think any of the merchandise so far has captured Gal's likeness. Even HT's lifesize statue looks off.

I definitely see Gal in the sculpt, but it looks more like she's on the red carpet than playing a warrior. Gal is an extremely talented actress and really good at face acting. She never seems to vogue, which is something the sculpt seems to be doing. Gal's Wonder Woman is beautiful because she forgets she's beautiful and focuses more on the task at hand. She has a fierceness that the sculpt doesn't capture.

Do we reckon the same figure will be trotted out for Justice League and the Wonder Woman film? Or will teh protrait and other costume elements be updated?

Or are Hot Toys likely to give the character a miss altogether, since this is such a recent release?

The costume will be different at least for her solo film and they always seem to improve the head sculpt in some way. But I don't know if they will get rid of the seamless body.

They usually improve the likeness with every new release. People think it's good now, despite the lack of Gal. Just imagine how good the next head sculpt will be. Not to mention the brighter colors of the outfit from the solo-film version.

It will be similar to Black Widow and I'm liking the brighter colors of her solo film.

It doesn't always happen though. Most people seem to agree that the Cavill MOS sculpt was a whole lot closer than the BvS sculpt. And there are also some who like the Winder Soldier Black Widow over any of the later ones.

And of course there's still a good chance we'll see a tweaked and improved sculpt for this figure, much like they seem to do with most figures nowadays.
