I don't know about the V.1 but the 2 in 1 is sewn on and non-removeable unless you slit the stitching with a knife.

I noticed that DC direct have improved there Christopher Reeve Statue for 2010, but I'm still not hooked on it.

If this Hot Toys announcement turns out to be hot air then I might bite

The sculpt is the same, they are just doing a mini statue of the first release.

I was so excited for that statue (the first release one) but was disappointed on checking some final product photos. If only they had pulled off a better head sculpt, this statue would have been a treasure for me . Bring on the real Sups HT (fingers crossed)

Without derailing the thread too much, this is the sculpt I'm currently using to make my 1:1 Ultimate Reeve display - I wanted a much bulkier look reminiscent of the desert scenes at the end...

I hope Hot Toys is watching all this...!

Congratulations on owning that masterpiece. That is the perfect Christopher Reeve Superman sculpt. If Hot Toys could shrink that down to a 1:6, I would be one happy camper
