Rogue one lenses looked actually red, which is hilarious. Even the filmmakers got tricked by the actual color.

They definitely did that because they all grew up under the same influences. They would likely have Han in a blue coat too if they remade Hoth.

Ya know what's weird? I have done the exact same thing with Han's leather jacket in TFA. I could have sworn it was blue, and even thought my buddy was crazy for thinking it was brown, then I looked it up and sure enough it's a brown leather jacket.

Maybe it just reminds me of his costume from ESB where he's wearing the blue jacket after they leave Hoth.

Chest box comparison..overall scale of the R1 version might look better but the slot buttons are smaller and not accurate to ANH.. View attachment 315631

Well, they got rid of the surrounds around the red/green squares and brought it closer to the correct size at least, but the grey/white switches are so skinny on BOTH chestboxes.

No, but it will give you to option to switch between the two to change up a display.

Did you want an ANH dome as a swap/trade? Or you just don't need the dome at all and want to sell it?

I don't need the whole head now. I'm sticking with the ANH head I'd modded. I'm also not using the RO chest armour and robe inner tunic set if anyone is looking for a set.

You should hold onto the R1 chest armor and bells..they're far more accurate than the ANH version..

Hallelujah! I just picked up a bunch of Rogue one parts on eBay this week. The chest/shoulder armor is nearly perfect,just needs a total repainted, and some very slight mods.

In many ways I'm almost starting over with this ANH custom but it's worth it for Vader.

I have the R1 body suit coming in the mail, is it better than the ANH version? Does anybody have any comparison pictures?

I really love the look of the newer Sideshow, Empire/RotJ body suit too, it just needs a lot of tailoring to properly fit on the Roadblock body I'm using. The Sideshow body suit also feels really delicate, like flaking is in it's future.

Please chime in with your advice and input.

The R1 suit is in 3 parts as opposed to the two part ANH suit. It is more tailored and is a bit glossier. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the parts.

I picked up the:
• Chest/Shoulder armor
• Head sculpt
• Tunic
• Belt
• Body suit

I also got the boots, but in my opinion they are inferior to the ANH boots.

ANH cape has an obvious stitch-line that's always bugged me.

RO cape is a nice deep black with darker stitching. If you use the RO tunic, I believe you will find you need the RO cape as well.
