Thank you. The power cord option works great. But was bummed they didn't power the panels. I put a motion detector on it so it lights up automatically when entering home office. Highly recommend that.

I bought a set of 4 of these to tinker with and I have an idea of how you can power everything with a single AC adapter.
We all know that the bases are electrically interconnected so one set of batteries or 1 ac adapter will power every interconnected bay.
The problem is that the walls have to be wired individually.
I have noticed that most are using a second converter to power them.
Since they are 4.5 volts you should be able to plug an adapter cord into any of the interconnected bays to provide 4.5v power to some sort of buss bar system.
You could actually use a buss bar or it could be as simple as using a wire nut to secure all of the positives to the positive wire of the adapter cord and the same for the negatives.
That way you could use a single switch to control the entire set up.
Oh nice, I was looking through Amazon last night to find one I could solder in to an existing display I have but didn't see anything that I thought would work. I'll have to make my way out to the stores.
