I say they should come out swinging and do a full on dekkard with all the fixins. then dx 4 could be roy batty.

or fix the misstep they took with the big chap and give us a real likeness with swappable mouths (closed with lips, closed with teeth and inner jaws showing and full on skull punching bone colored inner jaws extended) an egg, a facehugger, a chestburster and, you know, silver teeth with an underbite.

but a tip top robocop would be good too.

This has become such a programmed misconception. DX is not officially supposed to be upgrades of existing figures, it's a line of figures that go beyond their standard releases, that's all, it just happens to be that the first 2 sold and 1 other publicly known planned DX figure have been revisits of existing figures.

I truly hope this DX03 is something just done DX from the start to finally wipe away the fear that every DX will always be a bigger and better version of a figure already released.

Wait a minute ! Maybe a dx Dutch from predator .to soon for an alien unless it's a black version with silver teeth . I have two predator 1's . One is on display and one tucked away still unopened. So I am Not looking forward to that possibility . But it would be perfect timing to mention it now and release it right around the new film on the fall.

HT would be beyond foolish to release another Big Chap. After all the fuss over the original and the few changes they made to it, if they released an overhauled one right now that was more accurrate, it'd annoy people immensely, it's a bad fan relations move.

I'm telling ya . I have the elder 2 predator in my hand . I'm looking at the mandibles . now You know they have a open mandible option in there shop somewhere . This thing would sell like hotcakes . If you look close up ,it looks like you could remove them but you can't . I say dx elder predator with laser canon to top it off . #2 dx Dutch or #3 dx wolverine .

I think DX Wolverine has a fair shot, but from the Trilogy, sadly I think Origins is done as far as figures from Hot Toys.

Dutch wouldn't do very well sold again I don't think, the headsculpt from the first would probably be reused, and likely he'd end up on the new T-800 body, which would make him even taller than the Predator than the current Dutch, and that was a let down for a lot of collectors, having the Predator now tower over Dutch.

Howard said in an magazine interview (not milk) that HT will start taking pre-order a new MJ figure this month (or march), may be thats the new DX.

It's not all speculation, the official HT announcement about DX back with the Joker's reveal said nothing about updates to previously released figures, just said it would be above and beyond figures that stood out against MMS releases. Their news articles don't go back that far to find the article. Maybe it'll turn into just updated versions of previous figures, but they didn't officially state that's what the line's supposed to be.

Not much, except a revised portrait and better articulated body. I'm fine with the Dutch head but seems the overall consensus is that it's squished and needs to be elongated. They could try to do the muddy battle look.

It didn't say it would be about new figures either. So again, it's speculation on your part.
