I've got about $55 in reward points at Sideshow. I plan on applying them to the shipping cost of the new DX Luke.

If this guy is $300 I'm just going to keep the Sideshow figure.
Star Wars fans will never cease to surprise people as to how deep their fandom goes.
A great example is that my 70 year old grandmother, that has been a huge SW fan since she saw the movie in theatres on opening day 1977...will be pre-ordering this figure. And she said price will be no issue.
That is seriously awesome...
My Grandma is a right-wing nut who likens the Force to witchcraft.

I thought I'd want the antenna but the more I think about it I figure I'll never use it. I definitely don't want to pay a bunch extra because it's included.
I've got to get me one these grandmothers, I say.....
Indiana Jones DX, Batman and Joker are $240-$260 so I guess DX Luke is going to be $300.
Spider-Man comes with a giant piece of a building and is practically a steal at $150. So I'm guessing the pieces like this don't add a lot of cost... but this is still likely to be one pricey f'n figure.
Which would be about $245 with my reward points.
I hope you're right as far as Luke is concerned. Definitely don't need a reason to add extra cost to this one.
$ 300 is too muc, Joker high price appears to be a result of licensing issues because for a dx the coat is the only thing I see extra. All the other acessories are with in the normal $ 160 range figure.
