Funny how the figure was scene-specific with battle damage and gantry, yet the EX was from Dagobah.

Maybe he shoulda been called "Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot Ground Uniform)".

I don't think I could ever sell this set or separate the two figures. Im pretty dead set about having doubles of a character but when HT does Farmboy Luke that ***** it bought. Then, technically, I'll have three of one character.

I'd love to get this set, but the current prices are prohibitive. HT will never do a 2.0 of this, will it? If not, Farmboy Luke and/or Jedi Luke it is then!

And what's the deal with Red Five Luke? I read on this board that Sideshow DID NOT get the likeness rights? Is that true or a swipe at Sideshow's sculpt?

Where did you hear that? While not perfect, it's the most accurate and best looking Hamill sculpt ever produced for a 1/6 figure and the proto puts the Hot Toys Bespin Luke sculpt to shame.

I read it somewhere here on this board (I haven't been following the Red Five thread), like I said I didn't know if the poster was telling the truth, misinformed or just trolling. Looking at the pics, I didn't think it was all that bad.

The sculpt is much better than the Hoth Luke from Sideshow and probably better than the HT Bespin, at least the proto is. But I guess the poster felt the finished product would have to be a shrunk down clone of Mark Hamill to be worth that price.

Luke x-wing is a fantastic likeness of Hamill. I'm only holding off ordering because I'd rather have the ESB snowspeeder flight gear. I might buy the head once people start breaking up sets and put that on my DX Bespin Luke.

Yeah, I'll use it to upgrade Farmboy & Yavin Luke, though with the unexpectedly high price the heads will be rarer/more expensive.
