And to Josh, I also really dig some of those Drafthouse posters, but it seems there is a big chunk of folks who will buy whatever they put out.

I noticed cause I was seeing names I don't recall ever seeing in the Indy section before. Hell, even to trash SS stuff till HT said they would be doing it. I like the Drafthouse posters they're pretty cool.

Guilty.....I didn't like SS or Medi version therefore why bother posting in those threads bashing those who liked them? If HT suxs, I won't buy either. Indy is iconic enough to add to my collection but not a "must have" so I am not a regular to the boards. So what's the problem

Yeah, I think it is analogous to being a fan of a certain Hot Toys sculptor (as many are, from what I understand).

I get what your saying. They are toys (based on movies) and everyone has their individual preferences, I dont get why it is a big deal

Well in seriousness its probably true. In my case, I once considered getting Indy stuff back when KOTCS was coming out, either the SS figures or the Hasbro line or both, but I resisted. Now that HT has entered the ring though I shall resist no more, I can say that without even seeing the figure. It more than likely will be the best Indy figure ever done.

I'm sure HT will knock many of the aspects of the figure out of the park and then some. I do worry about the sculpt as Ford seems very hard to do and Trevor has shown he's rare in being able to nail it.

HT headsculpts aren't always perfect in my book but I'm certainly very excited to see what they come up with. I'd love to see what that new female sculptor could do - shes the one who has done both Platoon figures so far. That Sgt. Barnes sculpt of Tom Berenger is unmistakeable. Do we know who will be working on the head? Trevor or a HT sculptor?

They have gotten better for sure over the last few years. For everyone they do well one there is still a few they seem to struggle either because its hard or licensing something like that. That being said I'm excited to see what HT comes up with.
