If it's been addressed, apologize in advance, but just wondering (for anyone that was there or if anyone knows) are there two different heads or was it the same head on two different bodies for the display at the show? Just can't tell from most of the photos I've seen whether it's the same sculpt, guessing it is though.

THANKS!

I don't think it'll be that long, people are probably basing that off Spider-man 3's date, but where that figure is venturing into new territory and HT has even come out and said they're still exploring things with the body to optimize the look, the release date is pushed out to give them time. Indy should be out by the end of Q2, assuming it goes up for order soon. T-800 went up this time last year and shipped in May.

Thanks for that and I really hope your right, I can just about get my head around having to wait until June for this but not September :monkey3

I just saw the Thor and Resident Evil Milla and both those look great! Much better than Indy! Now I'm even more disappointed. :(

I really hope they fix the face and hat.

How can you complain about Indy and then go on to say the Milla figure from RE is great? The face on the Milla figure is so off it's not funny, luckily I have no desire to collect those.

Im sure its pretty easy. The Milla sculpt is about 98% spot on. The Ford sculpt is about 75% spot on. Something with the nose on the Indy sculpt thats just not quite right.

Well he's pretty basic, his costume is fairly basic compared to some other figures that come out within a few months, there's not much to the pedistal besides paint so that should be done easy, and his accessories are on the plain side. Other than time to rework the sculpt or something, I don't see any reason this couldn't be a 4-5 month from order to arrival.

People really shouldn't let toys mess up their Christmas. :lol Deep breath people. :lol

Yes, to some extent I think this is true. However, I don't think this is the overall case to be honest. I'll use myself as an example. I will place a safety order in the hopes that HT will fix the issues with this piece so I keep the order. I have 3 really cool Indy figures from Sideshow and a really cool custom Map Room Indy. Plus I have the Idol Chamber piece as well. So while I really love the work HT does with their stuff this piece has to knock my socks off.

Right now this thing hasn't done that. In some ways I'm not shocked because of how hard Ford is to pull off. Very few have done it with any real success from my POV. So when I saw the full preview shots and it has mostly a hint of Ford than is Ford I again wasn't shocked. The part that did I guess shock me was that the jacket needs work. I expected more the material like what Wolverine came with. Right now it just isn't there.

So you factor that stuff all in with the fact this is gonna cost a pretty good penny I'd say. They've shown some really awesome stuff Thor, Mark V, Iron Monger, Captain America (announced), and items that they've already had up for PO that will be coming and this MUST be as close to perfect as it can get. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Its not that people are looking to take shots at HT which I find laughable that some HT fans are taking it a bit personally people aren't slobbering all over themselves.

Will this figure be fixed? Sure it will HT does that with everything. I think the question is will it be fixed enough to be the great figure it should be coming from HT and worth the asking price with everything else out there?

Very well put. I totally agree.

Those dark eyes too.

All of the PERS eyes end up looking dark, there's depth to the iris, so even though it's colored correctly for a character, unless well lit and photographed really close, the effect is an almost black iris, though often even real people's eyes look that way if not lit well enough.

HT has miles to go on this one if they want to produce the definitive Indy.

Could it be that they've overextended themselves by acquiring too many licenses?

Wow... so much hate for this figure!

I think it looks pretty damn awesome!! Never had an Indy figure, very big chance that this'll be my first and only one!

I think the sculpt looks great! The only thing that makes him look a bit funny is the "deadness" in his eyes.
Guessing that's from the DX-type eyes combined with weird camera angles/lighting.

I for one am looking forward to seeing the full specs and pics for this figure!

Love the accessories as well. So what that HT includes the stone column for the Idol? Not everyone has the SS one.
I think that this figure is pretty much the ultimate Indy figure. Just one purchase is gonna give the collector multiple diorama options of 2 iconic scenes from an iconic film and character.

I think HT did a great job on this!! :rock :rock :rock

Ever try and have a conversation with a baby screaming and crying in the background? How about 10 babies?

The negative screaming and crying will always overwhelm the praise.

The figure is not perfect, but (in my eyes) it is much better than the SS one. I also have a feeling that there will be tweaking in regards to the Head and clothing, which will make this figure far outshine the SS version.

Sorry I think saying there is a overwhelming sense of hate is pretty off the mark. Read my post that was quoted above and I think you get a sense at where folks are coming from. Its wonderful so many of you love it as is but they'll lose out on plenty of sales if they leave it how you all see it. They will still get my money but it will be in other figures instead of addition to this figure.

I "do" think it still needs some work, but it is so early on that i believe the version we are seeing now will be refined. If it doesn't go through a further refinement, than your right, they will lose some sales. I would say that where it stands right now, i am 75% likely to get this figure. I would like to see some improvement, but it may not kill the sale for me, though the price might.

Just FYI Josh, that statement is not directed at you, your remarks seem to be fair and level headed, even when they are negative.
