It probably will be, at this scale, you can't make a hat that looks right on his head with hair on the sculpt that looks right with the hat off. The real hat would press down Ford's hair, but with the hat off it's puffy with body.

I'm curious if there'll even be a hatless option or if somehow, the hat comes off and you plug the turban in it's place but there's no hair atop his head.

I think what we've seen in the pics so far is a removable hat, which is easy to believe because it does look off to me.

Not necessarily, like I just said, maybe they designed it so the hat and turban from the map room outfit both connect to the top of his head and maybe that's the access to the PERS, and it's just one head. have to wait for official specs.

I think it looks like Ford. Could the likeness be better? Sure. But that can be said for all of the others companies products too. I'm sure HT will improve it anyway.
