Well, I'm not going to read through all this thread, but looking at the pics that were released, all I can say is, that sculpt is ca-ca!

That's my opinion and I'm allowed to say it. :D

I'm hoping that HT can match up to this custom by one of our board members, Warrior038:

If they can do that, I'll be happy.

:goodpost:

I agree Mr E. This has been one of my favorite Indy's since seeing it a while back in the customs thread. This is yet another example of how accurate Trevor's sculpt truly is once the heavy handed paint apps are upgraded.

One of the many amazing details on this figure is that he modified and used the SS jacket.

I am a firm believer that in the right hands the SS figure has unbelievable potential. It just takes someone with the skill and passion to bring it out.

Awesome figure!!!

Well yeah. There's plenty proof of that.

But it doesn't change the fact that it's a turd straight out of the box.

I think the sculpt is pretty close, Id say about 90% there. The only thing off IMO are his eyes, They seem a tad bit to far apart.

:lecture

I think what we've seen in the pics so far is a removable hat, which is easy to believe because it does look off to me.

This is what I am hoping too, the hat is just not on right.

I really hope we get the official pics soon I really want to see this guy now in a better light

I am always let down by the official pics, the TH display pics is where it's at for me.

I think the sculpt looks pretty good. It's sure to be tweaked and reworked some too. Though I've never been a fan of the PERS, I feel they hurt the overall appearance to be honest.

It is weird that they put so much effort into making their sculpts lifelike, and then screw it up with those eyes. I never understood Enterbay's thought process on that either.

That shot is epic, wow, cannot wait to get this. The lighting is so much better, you can totally see Ford.

IMO that shot proves this is better then Trev's, to me that is, I just watched Raiders, Witness, and Blade Runner this past week, and Trevor's Raiders Indy while a great likeness, is too fat to be a young Ford. He looks like a middle aged Last Crusade Indy.

This set kind of makes me wish I had not sold all this stuff, so I could mix and match:

as much as I want to.. I am still not seeing Ford in that sculpt... I hope they rework the hell out of it..

The lighting is certainly better, so the shape of the face isn't being washed out or plunged into deep shadow.

I see Harrison one moment, but flicking from one pic to the next something is jarring. But then Harrison looks so different in photos, even from the same time period.

He looks better with a tan:

I can't undestand how anybody can not see Ford in this sculpt, especially after seeing this new picture, but then again there were plenty of people on the Terminator 1 thread saying that figure does not look like Arnie, which for me was WTF moment. Oh and I see that somebody's going around saying if you defend this figure you're a Hot Toys Fanboy, well I have two Sideshow Indy figures, two customs using Trevor's sculpts, and the Raiders PF, so I'm no "fanboy"
