Regarding the sculpt, it's time someone did something. They may take Arnie off it so he can concentrate on Supes and not delay it. They could rescue Indy by using Trevor's sculpt with a JC Hong paint job. Not many folk really care about PERS. Still, they can't drop the price now, refunding pre-orders would be a nightmare!

CHEERS!

All other errors aside, I would gladly pay $250 for that figure with Trev's sculpt and a HT paint job. :monkey3

Take the time to politely email HT and voice your concerns.
That coupled with the Facebook feedback and any perusing of this thread or other forums by Hot Toys could lead to significant changes.
I still have faith in HT.
This figure is far to important to "just hope" it all turns out in our favor.
I did, and noticed it wasnt the typical automated response.
They've got people actually looking at the emails and taking note.

I did that while I was banned, when the pics first hit. :lol

I wrote this to them today...

Hi, I'm an avid collector of 1:6 action figures and I can say that Hot
Toys is clearly the best manufacturer there is! Awesome work. I have
more than 15 Hot Toys figures. I am writing you today to talk about
two big concerns that have been voiced loudly on several collectibles
forums (Sideshowcollectors.com and onesixthwarriors.com) with regards
to up coming figures you are releasing.

1. THOR... I think for the most part that this figure is great. The
headsculpt likeness is generally very good. There are two small issues
however that I feel need addressing with this figure. (A) The body
doesn't seem big enough. Chris Hemsworth has bulked up considerably
for the role and I'm worried the Hot Toys figure will look too average
in stature next to other Hot Toys figures. (B) While the headsculpt is
nice, it doesn't lend itself to more dramatic aggressive posing. Is it
possible to get a second 'battle cry' head sculpt like was done with
the 300 King Leonidas figure?.

2. INDIANA JONES... This is one of my favorite characters of all time
and could be a truly amazing figure... however there are various
things that concern me with the prototype that Hot Toys has shown.
Firstly, the headsculpt likeness is not close enough to Harrison Ford
as he appeared in Raiders of the Lost Ark. This is the most important
facet. If the headsculpt is fixed I would have NO problem purchasing
this figure at the (rather expensive) $250 price point. Secondly, DX
figures in the past almost always (Joker, Batman, Bruce Lee) come with
2 headsculpts. Since this figure will have enough costuming for two
figures, why not include a second headsculpt? Thirdly, the hat seems
to ride too high on the head of the figure. This contributes to the
feeling that it doesn't look enough like Ford as Indy. Forth, the
Jacket seems a bit plasticky and the costume/shoes in general could
use a little bit of weathering. Indy is never wearing a 'clean'
version of his costume in the movie. There's always dust, sand, dirt
and sweat.

Thank you for reading. I'm hoping you will listen to the concerns of
many of your fans. Im sure you have received many notes such as this
and I look forward to seeing how the final production figures look!

Good stuff Wake.
When I contacted them I included links and reference picts galore to drive home my points.
They seemed to appreciate the detail.

Email them guys.
No postage needed.

Wouldnt that blow everyones mind if they announced Trevor would be stepping in with an alternate head?

We love Arnie for HT Bruce Lee figures but we want a Trevor Indy from HT more.

Most EPIC figure ever.....
:rock:rock:rock:rock

So dont make us give you the finger Hot Toys.

I couldn't really give a crap if Arnie Kim or Lil' Kim sculpts the head as long as it looks like Indy. As for our Trevor sculpting it for Hot Toys, forget it. That's just a pipe dream

Really!? Not so long ago, folk would have considered Arnie Kim sculpting an HT Indy a pipedream. You just never know. Let's see what emerges.

CHEERS!

Sent them a email as well :rock :rock

1. THOR... I think for the most part that THOR sucks. Could you make another Joker instead?

2. INDIANA JONES... This is is the greatest looking figure I have ever seen. Don't change a thing.

I defininitely see Ford but you are right, in some of the pics there is something off. Maybe something to do with the PERS? Maybe just the particular angle of the shot? Anyway, it's great to be getting so many new pics all the time, it's helping me with the wait to get this guy in hand.
