Broke and happy
I agree with Mag, the boots/feet do need to be flat against the ground.
I don't see any swoosh.
I choose to reserve calling this fantastic until it's in hand b/c of the concerns already stated.
They may not be able to do the Nike Swoosh for copyright infringement.
Yeah there's no way they get to use the swoosh without paying Nike, and I don't see that happening, it won't bother me either way but I know some folks are against it.
I cut me some Nike Swoosh's and added them to all my foot wear, even my slippers
Go ahead Nike, sue me
You must be a pretty hard guy to please. Do you do this with all prototype releases?
It's ok you don't need to understand why I point out potential flaws I see, and I never said I didn't enjoy the photos, you're making assumptions.I guess I just don't understand the thought process in not enjoying good product pictures and continually stating potential problems when the actual figure hasn't even been released yet. We've seen some real stinkers when initial products pop up. Those are meant with harsh criticism and photoshops. We've also seen some great pieces, (which, according to the general consensus, this '89 Batman figure is) and those are meant with enthusiasm and good feelings.
Again, if my posts bother you don't read them.Yeah, there are whats and ifs all throughout this topic about what the final product will be, and that's fine. I've speculated on potential problems as well. But to continually be cynical over and over again? That's something else.

I have them tattooed on my feet.

Well, there's something sculpted where the swoosh would be. It has a curve to it, but whether it's actually a swoosh is unknown.
It might just be a random, sculpted curved "plating" that Hot Toys put in because they couldn't get the rights to the Nike logo and symbol.
I'm glad the Nike text logo isn't there. These look like actual boots instead of done up shoes, like Maglor stated. Having the Nike crap while accurate, wouldn't sit right with me. I can't get over how accurate and detailed they are regardless. They got everything right.
Maybe. Why is that important to you?

Notice it's on the outer side of the shoe facing out on the actual boot,
The swoosh isn't on the inside of the shoe facing in,
On the figure, it appears to be the same exact way,

And he is still going...........blah blah blah
I think you misunderstood Maglor though. Even though the NIKE logo isn't there, I took his comments as he till doesn't like the look of the HT movie accurate design.
Am I right Mag?
If so I don't agree with you, I like what HT did. I'm really really happy they stuck with the movie design minus the logo.
Mag's sworn statement, evidence #1:
Well they certainly look like what the actor wore. But they don't look like what I pictured Batman wearing in my minds eye.
I know I'm in the minority, but I would have liked to see them use some artistic license to make them look like one solid boot rather than jimmy rigged Nikes.
