Back when Hot Toys announced the Batman '89 license last winter I made a facebook and a separate photobucket account with some reference. Not sure if they saw it or even cared but after seeing that great Iron Man Hall of Armor, I figure it wouldn't hurt to send them some vault reference material.

They're upping their game so I'd definitely be interested in an '89 vault and a TDK armory cage. They seem like no brainers.

I might actually bite if they do a Vault. Great way to showcase the figure and all his goodies. :D

Damn right.

For the longest time I didn't even notice his gadgets and weapons were on the door.

I can definitely picture Hot Toys doing this and then putting this on a detolf, with Batman in there or by the side with overhead lighting.

Well only if you have Batman leaving the vault, otherwise you could have the armour in storage.

The iron man needs an Iron Man armour in their to show it off, which means you lose the figure as it becomes part of a static dio.

If Hot Toys made this...

It would have the individual armour components and empty cowl included with it, no need to stick a figure in their.

I'd love the freak-outs if they did this and included a Bruce Wayne figure using the TF EX head. :lol

Just so you guys know, hottoys Japan has this listed as DX07 not DX09.

Yeah, I noticed that in the catalog.

So I guess we can all assume that Luke Skywalker will be DX 09 now. Kind of kills the whole '89 thing Hot Toys had going with making Joker #8 and Batman #9. Oh well.

Guys, sorry for the noobish question, but if one of you can tell me, what do the DX numbers really mean? Is it just that Hot Toys releases their DX figures in order (eg. DX07 is followed by DX08). Or, is there something more...?

They're just numbers.

Figures are released in different order sometimes.
