Guys, sorry for the noobish question, but if one of you can tell me, what do the DX numbers really mean? Is it just that Hot Toys releases their DX figures in order (eg. DX07 is followed by DX08). Or, is there something more...?

All Hot Toys figures have numbers assigned to them as they are released, that's all it is. :lecture

Well only if you have Batman leaving the vault, otherwise you could have the armour in storage.

The iron man needs an Iron Man armour in their to show it off, which means you lose the figure as it becomes part of a static dio.

If Hot Toys made this...

It would have the individual armour components and empty cowl included with it, no need to stick a figure in their.

I'd love the freak-outs if they did this and included a Bruce Wayne figure using the TF EX head. :lol

Greatest idea I heard today :hi5:

How do you know?

Holy 15 day old post, Batman!

But yeah, I remember when CloudN posted that in response to your comment on the Returns suit. I don't think they really know or maybe they do?

It seems like a no-brainer but I don't see how they'd know.

EDIT:

Do you live in L.A. Haytil?

Futzed properly it will look a hellovalot better than that.

Are you thinking about making custom capes?

Yeah, I mean it's a stiff looking pic, but after messing with it I am sure it will look classic.

It's pretty damn close. And it's definitely HT's best cape to date. But like always it is thicker than life.

The way it piles up on his shoulder shows how thick the HT cape is. It's just near impossible to replicate it at this scale when you do two layers.

Well, I also don't recall Batman standing in front of a white backdrop in the 1989 movie which shows every detail. :lol

The only thing im not liking about the suit is it appears inaccurate. He wore a type of thick body suit in the film if i can remember correctly with the body armor over that. HT has made it all one rubber piece. Doubt they will fix it and im sure i can deal with it. I just hope it doesn't gooze like the rest of their crappy rubber designs.

:lol @ the freaks chickenlittling the unfutzed cape in the ____ty pics. :lol

Well I, for one, ain't doin' that. :dunno

Looks great to me (and much better than all the existing custom '89 capes). And after futzing it will be stellar.

The cape is thicker that the real cape though.

I agree with Maglor. It appears to be HT's best Batman cape to date. It definitely would be near impossible to replicate the latex sprayed cloth cape in 1:6 form and do it so it hangs properly.
