I'M asking people to go on facebook and message" HOT TOYS" to make the 1989 movie batsymbol packaging for KEATON BATS OR NEXT batman instead of the SHOEBOX packaging ,because supermans design rocks, and SO SHOULD BATMAN !!!!!

I prefer the shoebox packaging. Not a fan of the Superman box.

it's all good just trying to push the creative button on hot toys and still hope for the 89 BATSYMBOL packaging instead of another BORING shoebox display ...HOPEFULLY they realy do the box design up nice for MR.J and BATS..........

For some weird reason
I feel like HT is more likely to do the box more like the simple movie poster design, where it's just plain black and the bat-symbol on it but maybe has a raised texture to it or something

Yes to all of the above. HT has done some really nice shoebox packaging and I'm more than happy with that. I don't like the awkward Supes box at all.

Keep Bats' box small but classy HT!

With the bat symbol hinged so you can see him inside.

I already preordered both Batman and Joker from BBTS...

Then today I saw that Midtown Comics is selling Batman - $215.99 and Joker - $238.49...

Tempting until I realized that shipping for orders over $201.00 is 12% of the final cost... what the hell ... So the more you spend the more you spend on shipping? Price =/= weight...?

Why somebody doesn't take a few seconds to futz that cape is beyond me. It may be a bit too thick but at least they could make it look better than that for a show. Everything else looks fantastic.

Agreed. And it's definitely too thick. I hope it gets thinner for the final production, or else you can bet your ass he's going to look this bad on 90% of collector's shelves as well.

The cape could use some weight sewn into it so it hangs better. If they put some plastic tips in the points of the cape it would hold the shape and make the cape hang better.

Very interested to see what you've found. I've been working on/with 89 Bats customs for a few years now and never come across a really good material for his cape.

The head and chest piece looks outstanding!
But if the fabric on the cape is that thick, there should only be one layer. Maybe its possible to mod this when released.
