Crap. Now I gotta go change the pose again.

Stop it with the awesome pics already, Mags!

:D

So only sideshow is shipping them, not the retailer ? I haven't got it from them.

Do you think it's going to deteriorate within the next couple of years?

Well, I had mine posed with the arms up for about 30 minutes and went to adjust the pose and there was already an ugly crease near the bicep fold... it didn't breakdown but I suspect it will eventually be an issue if it's posed dynamically for long periods of time...

I'm still not sure why HT made this in full rubber instead of breaking up into pieces like the actual suit... it would have made him more posable and given him a much longer lifespan all around... plus more accuracy.

Might be time to stay the hell away from this thread and resign to the fact that it could be another month and a half to two months wait. :(

Yeah tell me about it. The only thing that really helps with the wait for me is to know that not only will I be getting to ridiculously amazing figure but that Ill be getting two in one day. That is if The Joker looks as good iin hand as this does which I have faith that it will. That day is gonna be awesome. I may go into overload :lol

Yeah, I was surprised at how rubbery the suit is in hand. Before I got it I expected it to be what most people said it was in their reviews, a PVC type, pliable suit. It's a little too soft for my tastes and makes the arms and legs really bulky.

Don't get me wrong, the sculpt is perfect and this is the best rubber suit I think they've done to date but I think they could have approached it in a different, unique way.

I love how they made it appear like the armor pieces are segmented onto a spandex wet suit like the film. The back looks exactly like the actual film suit, I just don't like how it's all one piece and how the chest is "squishy" and creases. That should be the hardest piece of the figure considering it's his body armored chest. I would have liked to have seen them try a full, true type tight, black body suit, sort of like Spider-Man and Superman but with 4 rubber sculpted pieces attached to it (the forearms, leggings, shoulders, back) and a hard, chest piece in the front. Then you wouldn't have bulky legs or bulky arms and it would pretty much be an exact replica of the film suit.

Don't mind it though, I love the details that they sculpted onto the suit.

Is the material similar to that of the SDCC Batman Begins that came out last year? I preferred the material used on the Dark Knight Original Costume compared to that one.

Nope, it's different. It's better than the Begins Toy Fair suit. The rubber is nice and thick and the texture sort of makes it more compact. It is more like the OC Batman. You can feel that the biceps and thighs are built up with thick rubber, just like the original costume. The true type doesn't move around in the suit, it moves and sticks with the poses and feels better all around.

Overall, this is the best made rubber suit (I like it more than the OC actually) I just would have liked them to have executed it differently. My biggest gripe are the arms. Posing them are fine, it's not like the DX 02 "statue" but they're just too puffy. You can tell when you take the gauntlets off and go to push them up, there's a lot of thick rubber.
