The secret is to not take pics of the cape's side when you futz it for the front. :lol

Nope, it's different. It's better than the Begins Toy Fair suit. The rubber is nice and thick and the texture sort of makes it more compact. It is more like the OC Batman. You can feel that the biceps and thighs are built up with thick rubber, just like the original costume. The true type doesn't move around in the suit, it moves and sticks with the poses and feels better all around.

Overall, this is the best made rubber suit (I like it more than the OC actually) I just would have liked them to have executed it differently. My biggest gripe are the arms. Posing them are fine, it's not like the DX 02 "statue" but they're just too puffy. You can tell when you take the gauntlets off and go to push them up, there's a lot of thick rubber.

Thanks for that info. Even though it's not perfect, it's good to know that the '89 has the best suit so far.

I'm with you there man. It won't be until the end of March at the earliest that I'll get my Batman and Joker set.

It'll be worth the wait, trust me. It might be difficult but March will be here before you know it. Anticipation is the best part, atleast you'll get the chance to enjoy and appreciate Batman and the Joker at the same time.

Alright... so, how exactly are the rods suppose to go into a cape that is sewn shut??

I know this had been addressed briefly, but how many of you had capes that were not stitched shut?

And those that were stitched shut, how did you open the stitch?

And great posing there Maglor!!

M.

I had to cut mine.:hi5:

I don't know if it's like this with others but I haven't been able to put this figure down. Usually I'll pick a pose or something and leave it, or put it back in the box and come back to it later. With this, I'm constantly playing with it and admiring it. I'm afraid I'm going to do something I regret along the lines of breaking it by handling it so much. I'm surprised I haven't snapped the gauntlet blades on mine (which are surprisingly sharp and study) because a few times I've forgotten they were there while I'm posing it with the cape wrapped around.

I'm the same way, but something about this figure has me acting like a little kid again.

Thanks for the comments everybody. :duff

I'm impressed that Maglor was able to tame his cape into that pose. :bow

Yep he needs to explain that one tbh, I need to know how he did it

He's not going to tell us how he did it is he :lol

:bow:bow:bow teach me please!

:lol I don't know what to tell you guys. I didn't do anything magical. It's just the cape and it's wires holding that shape.

Honestly that cape futzing was infinitely easier than the first pose I did with having to get it all neatly folded in back.

Maglor, fix my cape.
