You've got to cut the little rectangles on either side of the cape.

Gently make a small incision with small, precision or sewing scissors or an exacto knife (make sure you don't cut through the other side of the cape) into the rectangle. Slide the dowel into the hole you made, and viola, Batman can spread his cape like in the film.

:lol:lol:lol

Love the shape of the cowl on the '89 Bat.

Awesome, everything works in this version. Composition of the shot can have as much impact as anything else.

When are Sideshow and BBTS gonna start shipping these? I swear they got Reeve Superman out faster than this.

Sideshow already has, but they didn't get their full order in, just a partial. Their earliest preorders were fulfilled first, the remaining are waiting for the next shipment, and it seems like few to none of the retailers they supply received stock and are waiting on the next shipment as well, which I believe includes BBTS.

Couldn't stop thinking about it.

Awesome buddy!

I just think that the light is a little bit too red :)

I'm sorry I have play a little bit with your pic because I didn't had mine yet :(

I hope that you don't mind! I can delete it if you want :)

starting to regret having not bought this. this is my absolute favorite version of Batman there is (from my favorite batman movie) but I never bought it because I think $260 is just too much for any figure. the only figure I'd probably buy for that much is a 1/6 Hulk because at least he would be gigantic so it would make sense.

Honestly, I don't remember. Are they smoke bombs? I just thought sticking all three in his hand that way looked cool. :lol

I haven't had time to catch up but I think you're right. We never saw them in the movie? I don't ever recall them but I do remember the glass breaking sound. Since they have clear parts.

They don't really get screen time, he throws down very quickly to escape Axis and that's the only time the smoke is used in the movie. Of the gadgets not really seen in the movie, the stars are the only ones I'm glad weren't used or seen. I feel like the rest of his weapons are about a passive approach to situations, but sharp throwing stars are more aggressive and certainly going to harm people more.=

Don't forget the Art Museum. The film was always shockingly Doom3 game dark on SDTV's back then I couldn't see squat at times. Even that weapon at the gargoyle.

Ah yes, I forge the museum because of the way the movie's cut, you hardly realized he's used it, by the time you see the smoke the Batmobile's already grabbed all of your attention :)

Bravo Mags! The shadow is perfect. I always look forward to your and Maulfan's pics. I dont wanna piss anyone off here but I gotta ask, What kind of camera do you have? My wife and I are in the market for one. My other camera broke so that's why I haven't really been uploading any pics lately.

Thinking it'll be April before my pre-order is filled, I ended up buying a second one on eBay from a Hong Kong seller yesterday who has stock. He has 100% positive reviews....not even a neutral in 12 months and has the eBay Top Seller designation. Weird thing is he e-mails me saying he's had returns of defective dx09s and asks me if he can open it up and check it before shipping it. I politely replied that I'll be expecting, as advertised, a brand new factory sealed figure, and that if that's not possible he could refund me. Anyway, he e-mailed back and said no problem, he'll not open it. Thought it was strange. Just wondered if anyone else experienced anything like this buying from a Hong Kong seller.
