Still on the fence with this figure. Mainly because HT are $$$ so I have to be very selective with my purchases, I am not a comic/movie related character collector even though I loved 89 Batman and Returns. As awesome as this figure looks, I am not sure if I want “Batman” in my collection. Funny thing is I do want Joker because of Jack Nicholson. I like to have iconic/known actors head sculpts in my collection (Depp, Ford, Schwarzenegger etc.) even though the jaw line is undisputedly Keaton. Other reasons are because of Jokers purple/orange color palette which I feel will be a contrast to the darker tones in my display and the layers and intricacies of clothing (which I feel gives HT their worth).
Again contradicting myself as a non comic/movie related collector I also want Devito’s Penguin. I have always like the design of this character. In my 7 inch collecting days Devito’s Penguin was always on my wish list (which never happened).
I guess without purchasing “Batman”, Joker and Penguin will be part of my HT collections as opposed to being part of my “Batman” collection if I make the Keaton Purchase (If that makes any sense to anyone).

As long as you don't care what people think and it makes you happy go for it. But when people come over and see the Joker and Penguin they'll say"....where's Batman?" As longs as you can deal with that do your thang!
