The stock cape does have a leather look. I bought a second one.

Well, for someone who's bought several custom capes over time, photographed it a lot and says "BTW, got my extra cape today" one leads one to assume one bought a custom cape. Never did it portray "I bought a spare stock item" and leaves it as clear as mud. But now we've established that.
Yes, I never saw lforigno's take on the leather cape and speaking of other photos, nor was there any of the hero cape. I use to check the threads regularly but nothing ever showed up except discussions. So I stopped bothering which has been many months now.
I just wanted to see if they were as good as it was made out to be but nothing surfaced.

I've been talking about it for days!^^^That's a link to the actual cape I bought.
That's why I bought a second cape. All that crimping will lead to breaking.
I've clearly been talking about the wired Hot Toys cape.
Anyway, I highly doubt that any custom cape will rival the stock cape.
