Does anyone think I'm crazy for doing this? I noticed that when you put all the stuff on his belt like the holder for the grapple gun etc. That it leaves some marks and dents on the belt. So I'm thinking about buying a clean new belt, and having one with all the tools on it.

Guys I am having trouble getting the one gun from the museum scene on arm. It's like it won't go on there right, or I am probably not doing it right. Can someone tell me how to put this on the fig. ? Thanks!

can't enough of this pose but my legs just don't seem right :dunno

Wow! An old Warners 'Clipper case' DVD cover! It takes me way back to say that the Burton BATMAN duo were some of the first few DVDs I ever bought! And played on my trusty but quirky (multi region) SAMSUNG 709 DVD player....

I remember it completely and totally as if it were yesterday because it was with BATMAN that I switched my player out of the default 'composite' setting over to 'RGB' I nearly fell out of my chair, the difference was that much better!

Good memories, thanks to BATMAN '89. Funny the things your mind holds onto.

Re: Hot Toys DX09 - BATMAN - LED Problem!

Stop moaning. The glue has simply dried up. Reaaply some new glue and it will be fine. Be thankful you have something that is an easy fix - you could have received a cowl with wonky ears or something.

:pfft: Shurrup, man! Why are you using the word 'moaning' about the belt with me?
Haven't you read what I posted before? See below...
Yeah, yeah, the belt notch is a piece of cake to fix! Just a drop of superglue will do, but I was only showing you, guys, how cheap Hot Toys is sticking this with almost no glue at all + :dunno Why the stupid move making the belt of 2 pieces not just 1 piece!

I am only saying that it is meaningless to make a belt of 2 pieces, allowing it to disattach ('n dammit, we have better things to do in life rather than wasting our time fixin' Hot Toys #$@%), while it'd have been a 1 piece belt!

But again, having dead LED and being not able to replace the dead lamp is not only #$@% but...BULL#$@%.

IMO, the thiner cape really sells the scale more.

Much better. For too long now most of your shots had too much blur on the figure itself.

Looks like a still from the film. One could swear it was Keaton himself.

Glad you are getting a replacement. The LED would not have been impossible to fix. Like you discovered with the belt, it's all just held together with glue. You can disassemble it with some careful work.

Just a reminder that this is still the finest Batman 1/6 figure on the market today...perfectly executed out of the box. :rock2

Anyone notice this guy's prices starting to shoot here and there? He really is amazing. I just hope he doesn't disintegrate on us.

I check my figure every now and then, and the rubber seems OK so far after about 3-4 months in hand.

I read that some people are putting Armourall or something on the rubber to maintain it? I'd prefer not to put anything on the figure just in case!! I've also seen people putting little bags of dessicant under their figures in the display cabinet, which looks all sorts of ridiculous to me!!

Anyone here put anything on the rubber or do anything else to maintain it?

now everyone it seems is unloading this figure to make way for new Bats and such...kinda sad.....

bought 2 piece together my 2nd and no damage except the grapel magnet for the gun fell out once and reglued...cant wait for his car and the dx12 batman...never selling my bats...

We still got returns batman coming some time ..I cant wait for returns catwoman ,penguin gonna be epic...

Well how ridiculous is that? Love it or loath it, this image of the BAT represents a legitimate and vital step in the cinematic life of BATMAN. The 1989 version was the first big-budget attempt to have a serious go at the character.

And so what is there to gain from selling this unique piece (and even if 'RETURNS' gets done, this will still be unique as the suits were different)?

You'd gain the same figure (that you probably already have) but in a suit with a mesh body and virtually the same extras.

:slap

These two will be on my collection forever. They are the center pieces of my collection. In fact since I've moved most of my collectibles are still packed away because I have yet to get a new cabinet but the 89 set is out.
