Definitely figure of the year for me :)

Looks good! This figure looks amazing. His gauntlets are off axis, though. The scallops should be in line with the elbow, and the plate over the posterior aspect of the forearm (from anatomical position).

Thanks for the advice. It should be here tomorrow, and my anticipation is high. I'm in for a show. :D

Oh baby, prepare yourself for a treat, as this is one badass figure alright. On the basis of 'fore warned is fore armed',

...the suit is reluctant to move and pose on occasion, but be patient and flex things around gently and it will do what you want.

The cape is a real bugger to get right. Of any issue that this figure might or might not have...this is the one that will get you! To replicate the look on screen, with the lining and everything, HT's cape is rather thick. However, with lots of clever futzing and 'Zen Master' degrees of patience, you will get the look you want.

Or you can remove the 'silk' liner and wires, with much care and attention, gently hair dryer the cowl scallops onto the thinner cape and viola!!

I personally have not done this, just FYI.

ohhh do u mean the fins should be on the same side/in line with the elbow?

Yup. Let me find an example image.

Notice how the blades on the gauntlet are in line with the elbow, so that if his arms were in a neutral position at his sides, they wouldn't be visible from straight on.

^^^ Exactly.

So many people pose Bats with the gauntlet blades winged out. But with the ATMs at his side, the shouldn't be visible when looking at him straight on.

Just reposed my Bats in a cool fighting stance and snapped a quick pic

Have to say that for me this is by far the best 1:6 bats available from hot toys including the new DKR DX12. The cowl and faceplates are what really makes it stand out from the rest, I'd swear there was a full Keaton sculpt under that cowl sometimes! The eyes have that intensity that the nolan bat figures just dont seem to have, IMO lol.

Got the Bats case here: https://www.japanbargain.com/servlet/the-2634/Japanese-Plastic-Display-Doll/Detail

They're plastic display cases with an acrylic top...really good quality but would still prefer to have acrylic cases if finances had allowed that option.

Still out of stock though...but one of their customer service reps told me that they're expecting more to come in sometime in September

For the Ferrari and BMW acrylic cases, got them at Michaels (15 inch wine case) and Autoart respectively

Thanks alot!:hi5:

Great pose! Reminds me of when he's fighting the black henchman in the bellfry.

Ahh...gotcha...thanks!!!

Nice pics Jye.

Could you resize them before posting in the future please? Giant pics really slow down page loading.

Resized for your viewing pleasure. :hi5:

I just finished my light box, now need to learn how to use it, these are the 1st 3 photos from it. Right now with 2 'Daylight" Flourescent 100W bulbs. The box I built is big enough to hold the Tumbler for photos! :yess:

Seeing jye's pics made me decide to pose Bats with his weapons for the first time yesterday, so this is how I have mine set up now:

mine arrived today from SS , got on the waitlist about 3 weeks ago

Hey Man,

When you waitlisted, did it say sold out on the item status? I just waitlisted and I really want this to get converted. I just dont understand how this wait listing works if only they become avaliable through cancelations and creditcard errors.....thanks guys
