They arrived yesterday, the 1/6 and 1/4.

I am in cape pig heaven! :lol

All thanks to your video reviews, Tony needs to pay you royalty. :lol

You, and your son, were 100% accurate on the quality.

My EB Batman is the last one to go.

I don't know which custom cape to get for him. :gah:

People really love that Meis cape. I dig his other capes, but the Keaton cape doesn't even compare to the HT. The only thing holding the HT cape back is the wire. Take that out and its perfect. To me, the material looks more accurate and looks better. It has that great pattern that reminds me of skin from a bat wing or something. The Meis cape looks to shiny, plastic like. I sold mine. I'm not knocking Tony at all. I think the guy does great work. I respect him and I really appreciate his skills. The board benefits greatly from his products. This is just my opinion.

I totally disagree... but that is what opinions are all about. :)

It does sound like you are basing opinions off his original cape though and not his new final version? The final version has the "skin" texture and looks absolutely fantastic draped on the figure. The look and ease of that cape has it all over the stock version. In my opinion of course. :)

Maybe crappy is too strong a word.

I agree, had HT not included the wire and double layer and just kept the texture it would've been a damn nesr perfect representation.

But they didn't.

However, these 2 stock puffy capes are good enough for framing, which is what I'm going to do. I'm also going to have my 2nd 1/4 Neca be in the raised arm pose, which that figure and stock cape look great doing!

Awesome man! Glad I could help!

Tony has always been very cool about thanking me for the reviews and getting stuff to me super fast. He is an awesome dude. :)

I thankfully don't have to worry about EB Batman... but if Hot Toys ever gets around to Returns, I can already foresee another cape in my future.

I just bought the Tony Mei Battle cape from a fellow freak today. I am looking forward to seeing how it will look on mine. Even without Tony's cape, this figure is still my favorite one.

A couple pictures with the stock cape. I originally had the Meis version 3 cape but thought I'd give the original a go. It can look excellent with lots of adjustment... I really like this pose.

Where can I get a custom cape for this guy & who's tony?

His username is Tonymeis. His email is [email protected]. I just ordered the final version myself.

Here is Sallah's informative article

It's going to be crazy to see how obviously outdated 89 Batman will look once Batman Returns is revealed.
How? They two different things....
