Guess I don't have it in me anymore to collect the Batman HT's... Kinda burnt out.. These Animated/DBZ figures just seem way more exciting than the HT ones I have. almost not poseable HT figs I have... If anyone is interested I have Batman 89 with Tony Mei Cape,Joker 89,Mime Joker,66 Batman, and 66 Robin... Hit me up if any of us guys are interested.

I've been thinking on it for a year now. Picked up the 66 Batman and Robin, might as well get the Keaton one too I figure. Im just worried about the PERS breaking. Maybe I'll wait for the Returns version.

I'm fixing a broken pers system for a client.
This is probably the hardest thing I ever had to fix. A total mess. Everything was broken to pieces. It has a lazy eye too. :gah:

Done !

Good work, man. The client must have dead set in having that joystick. It just seems unnecessary as all he/she had to do what simply move the eyes individually, which I think is the superior design. I get what HT wanted to do and appreciate the inventive spirit behind but i just feel they overcomplicated, not to mention increasing the risk of breakage, a simply design which was the Enterbay version.

Regardless, excellent work there. I bet it was tough, too. I've taken many PERS and it can be delicate work. I can only imagine having to glue all those tiny pieces together and then casting them.

Finally got an extra DX09 head, so that I can make a battle-damage Batman (his suit right after he crashes the Batwing, at the climax of the movie).

Unfortunately, my hard drive crashed, taking all my source pictures with them. Anyone have a few good close-ups/pics of Batman in the burnt suit that they wouldn't mind sharing? I've also got the movie to take snapshots from, but usually production photos are easier to see the details on.

Thanks!

Well I was finally able to find one at a decent price with a Tony Mei cape thanks to fellow Freak, JohnnyStarquest. I'm really impressed at this fig. I'm still fairly new to collecting Hot Toys and I've been sticking mostly Marvel side, but these last three DC pieces I bought, (66 Batman and Robin, DX09) have been really great. Now I need to get a Nicholson Joker, and Reeves Superman. First I gotta move this WInter Soldier I'm no longer interested in.

Excuse me....You're in my spot.

I'm Batman!

I really need to commission a new art piece.

I also really need to start taking pics with a real camera and not my IPhone

Love that Cap piece, who did it?

Love that Cap piece, who did it?

Tim Proctor. Here is his website timproctorart

He did a number of pieces for me over the years. The Marvel ones I have are on his page here. timproctorart They are the black and white ones at the bottom. I have a bunch of stuff from Star Wars from him too. The Cloud City in the upper right hand corner of the same page is one of them.

Great guy to work with, decent prices, and he loves the genre.

Had this guy for awhile, and I still absolutely love the look of him on my shelf (and now can't wait to have him standing back to back with the Batman Returns version).

Looks pretty cool standing next to Robo too:

And yeah I couldn't resist giving the pics a bit of that movie-style blue tint. :D

The news of the release of the Returns Bats got me adjusting my shelves and taking a long look at my DX09.
The bash of Keaton is in white to contrast the Big Black Bat. Whilst nowhere near movie accurate, it works for me.

Still my favorite figure in the Bats collection after all these years.

With returns bm on preorder its finally time to pick this guy up too. Anything I should know when looking for one, any problems with the figure?
