Anyone have any methods they want to share to get the cape to lay flat? I've got mine as flat as I can get it, but not as flat as I'd like.

I think the longer you leave it to "settle" the easier it is to work with . Mine's been on the shelf for a week ( I intentionally haven't tried too hard to pose the cape TOO much ) and it's beginning to look more "natural ".:wink1:

Great cape advice, thanks.

Out for delivery.

:yess:

I'm going to be able to finally share in the joy today! On top of that, this will be my first DX.

After all the pics, it looks like keaton is taller than bale. do those that have both agree? thanks for the help!!!!

Mind you, I did modify my Bale Bat to have a shorter neck, and the ears add hight to Keaton. But I'd say they're pretty damn close in hight.

Plus it was the 80's! The late naughties suck. Back then the world wasn't full of ego centric social networking people. The world was a more tolerant place. Not today.

:lol :goodpost:

Thanks Mags, took your advice and tweaked the grime some more

Definitely an improvement.

The light edge is still visible so you could maybe do a little more there, however I wouldn't add anything more to the face itself. Just the very top edge. The rounded part that MaulFan illustrated so nicely.

BTW, the Bat does eventually get his shape back after having the arms in an up position for a while.

I did help the cowl edges along a bit by heating them up and bending them downward.

Look at the picture numbers, all in the high 2000s! Given how many pics are posted, I wonder how many Guyver actually takes?

I want guyver's life; can afford multiple HTs, plays and photogrpahs his figs all day. NICE! I gotta hope I can find an hour or two this weekend just to set up my Bats.

Yeah um, guyver, I think one pic would have sufficed. Again.

:lecture

One not GIGANTIC OVERSIZED NUCLEAR BLAST OF AN IMAGE. And not six of 'em every other page.

Guyver, please take your seat and let the other kids have a chance during show and tell. :)

PS I ain't hating on ya bro, just sayin'. :peace

Got my figure yesterday. Easily the best Batman toy in my 20+ years of collecting. I'm a big fan of all the accessories, but my only complaint is that the batarang doesn't hinge open like in the movie. Otherwise, I think this guy is about as close to perfect as you can get. I can't get over how good the likeness looks in person. Especially the open mouth (not bloody) chin.

Right now I have mine on display with the palm strike weapon (knife blocking thing) in one gauntlet, and his batarang in the other hand. I think this is one figure that I'll constantly be changing up his look in my curio. Too many great options not to.

Congrats Rex, getting mine today or more likely tomorrow.:)

And I also prefer the open mouth face, curious why so many pose theirs with the closed mouth, guess it's because he looks more badass (iconic) and works better with fighting poses.

WaiMan from OneSixthBruce just dropped off a nice little surprise for me.:clap
Thanks to him for dropping him round. Of to open him up.

the boy scouts and playboy billionaires of Marvel & DC :panic:

Received Bats and Supes yesterday and damn...receiving two incredible figures in one day just makes it hard to do anything else for the day other than fiddle around with them. I'm totally blown away by the head sculpts and paint application on Bats and Supes!

Nice display Tdk5! Congrats on getting those two masterpieces at the same time. I'm glad the HT's Avenger's Cap is coming out because I can't stand the current HS, and the neck I got on mine is such a pain! :gah:

Nonetheless, great display cases.

Dude. Nice set-up. That is the cream of the crop right there in Hot Toys goodness. Love the display cases, what are they?
