You won't get jumped. You are passionate about it, so what. I personally would like you to post your thoughts on it. I might have a go at resculpting it myself, if I understand fully what the problem is.

POST IT!

Right well, as there was talk about turning the semi-BD head into a clean version, I found that the hairline is even more an inaccuracy than it otherwise seemed.

First of all, Difabio made up this a couple of weeks back -

A few people thought that looked great. I thought it looked pretty ridiculous. The face is just so damn wide! You could improve it however by doing this:

The best thing to do is to save these pics to your computer, open them up and then left/right cycle through them to see the change.

Face may still be a tiny bit wide to be honest but at least the forehead/temples are improved.

Here's what the DX sunglasses look like on the Semi-BD head as it is currently and compared to a screengrab from a similar angle:

Its totally wrong on the temple area^

Here's roughly how it should be reshaped/added to:

You can't quite get it perfect, the thickness of the arms of the sunglasses is relatively greater on the toy which throws it off a bit.

I hope what I have shown today does not spoil people's enjoyment of this figure, it is otherwise a fantastic and hugely fun piece.

But Rorywan....*smiles though clenched teeth*...I hope I've ruined it for you. I hope you can now see nothing else and it eats you up inside till you can stand it no more and have to do something about it and then take commissions for mods. :monkey3

:lol

*stands up on high alongside Difabio and looks out across a swathe of listeners* Who will join us in this pod?

Good pics man & that pretty much sums it up on the hairline. If the person that is doing the clean DX13 sculpt wants it to look the best, then they should definitely take your advice.

I think so. Now maybe actually implementing it might prove to be a different kettle of fish than just drawing lines on a photo with Windows Paint but... :lol

I think for someone that sculpts, it shouldn't be that difficult. Making changes to the top of the hair would be a good idea too.

Hair is pretty easy, but the idea of successfully turning a BD head into a normal one is pretty daunting. Not because of the sculpting part, but having to repaint the entire thing to be as good as HT's factory paint. Now there's a challenge. Fixing those hair bits isn't a biggy though, IMO.
