Just got this today from my local comicbook store for only $250! Not sure if it was a deal or they marked it wrong but can't beat that haha.
I completely agree.Hair is pretty easy, but the idea of successfully turning a BD head into a normal one is pretty daunting. Not because of the sculpting part, but having to repaint the entire thing to be as good as HT's factory paint. Now there's a challenge. Fixing those hair bits isn't a biggy though, IMO.
Here's the current setup...

Man U really need to change that pose. Not sure if he is fighting or is he about to bend and lift his skirt for acknowledging the massive applause for his opera..

I completely agree.
The hair is starting to remind me of another T-800 figure I have
mms117 still has some fight in him after all these years, agreed the hair is best on the 117
I'll take a crack at that mod A-dev. I think I some paint that could mimic that look.
Don't know about the front but I think I can tweak the side like you are referring too.
Thanks for posting, a-dev. As awesome as this sculpt is, it could be even better with the hairline adjustment.
It makes you wonder why something like the hairline would be missed. Especially from a sculptors eye, someone who would pour over pics of there subject. Its weird.

The width made me think of….
Maybe it would help if Hot Toys stopped making such perfectly close to symmetrical shaped hair. There's not even any peaks of light throughout the hair at any angle. Arnie with an afro wig.
The perfectly solid hair is playing with our perception and causing the head to look even rounder.
