I cant say of your dx10 that could be returned one dont know, but look at it this way at least the chip was in its head and the one who returned it did not keep it with him / her

As for dx13 ... Neither dx10 or dx13 came with any clear plastic on hands and feet etc. if i am not mistaken it comes with a 2 side open plastic for the main sculpt. But i dont even remember that. After so many figures, i have stopped seeing these things. All i check is if things like pers are working fine, no missing or broken parts.
Infact mine came with a box ding. (Small). I remember ss last time not giving me any $ or returns for that cause they think its normal for some wear to happen and thats what the box is for. I even went down the "collector mint" etc with them but they have become a bunch of BS guys when it comes to refunds and exchanges for minor issues. Major they will jump and solve but minor they wont.

Other than those, everything seems fine. No broken or missing parts. There were definitely smudges on the T-1000, I should've taken pics but I was disgusted that I wiped it already, haha. This didn't come with any plastics wrapped around the arms or legs or head right?

I was a bit concerned only because my DX10 seemed to have been owned before, and returned most likely. Bear in mind, I did purchase it extremely late, maybe around this late spring/summer, when it popped up on SSC's website. The pieces that would go in his head, the computer chip and core, were already in the figure's head. The plastic encasing did not have them in there, so I figured someone had put it in the head and left it there when returning it. There were some other things that seemed off about it being brand new MiB figure as well, but I do not recall at the moment. The figure also felt like it had been posed around before.

But it seems that this occurrence with the DX13 happened to a few people so it's probably poor packaging. Nothing as bad as the DX10 I got, and even that wasn't very problematic, just that I was expecting a brand. new figure and not one that was handled and returned by a previous owner, but it's understandable I guess.

That's a good idea. I'm not very experienced in selling things though. Would I be able to find some help on here with regards to prices? If I purchased a 2nd one, I would want to sell the heads, the accessories, the T-1000, and the jackets.

I think its a long shot... Even if TA sells out their stuff, for a year you wont get very lucky with making any money on anyting. Yes you may get 100 bucks for sculpts etc. but pretty much thats that. What i did was i bought a dx10 extra. Gave me 2 figures and also a dx10 sculpt. Not thats its better but u can go to and fro bashing a semi bd or even a different non bd version as and when i need.

My math was:

1) spares for semi bd : aprox 160 - 180
2) extra dx13 .. 340 with tax
3) extra dx10 from non taxing sites 225 odd...

So my math was clear, option. 3. I could live with some inaccuracies. However let Me tell you. I am still on the look out for an extra body and stuff for dx13 if prices seem less as we move forward else i will pass it....

Mine has that exact same crease on the cardboard insert right above Arnies head. I wonder how many others have that same one.

Mine to, it was factory sealed to, its no biggie, I'll take that over a paint chip or some other annoying figure defect:lecture

Some more pics of HT best figure:

Looks like his ready to bust some swat guys caps:horror

Hate that I have to drop my EX waitlist conversion... Guess I'll just have to go with the regular version later on. No big loss, but sucks nonetheless.

Pictures of this guy are amazing. My fiancé is blown away by them.

Just got this guy from a fellow freak. You guys weren't joking, this guy is def hot toys best, beats jack sparrow in my book. And I have both now. When I took the thumper out of the box, I noticed the strap clip was broken and only half of it was in the box... Guess I'll have to buy a new one.

Is the knee joint on the longer leg in all the way? Thats the only thing i could think of, sometimes when they are build they arent pressed in all the way.

Yes that should more likely be it, i have had that on a figure or two.

Listen to these two, Nintenjoe. This was a common problem with the Dx09. I've had it happen to other figures too. Just get a firm grip on the longer leg and push upwards.

Or failing that pull out the shorter leg and stuff bluetack up into the socket then reinsert the lower leg.

Thanks for the info guys. Hopefully that is the problem.

Just glue it man. No one will ever notice it including you. Its a small thing for you to buy like a whole gun for it. Just put a molecule of super glue on it and keep it there for 7 seconds, you are all set. Dont be so ****. U could also use a piece of that thin bendable wire... And just out it like a key ring? Dont know but something could be done.

Cheers!

yep, that's half of it
I re-read your post and then tried to delete mine

not sure what you could use to re-attach
metal would be tough to bend, I have daughters and some of their earings have small loops that might work

Yea lol like I said I'll look at my gi joes cuz I remember some of the guns had similar clips but like Leon said, maybe just some glue. It's the back strap anyway.

I don`t know for $300+ action figure I expect it to come in one piece.

I`d ask about a replacement.

$15 toy from TRU sure I`ll glue it but I expect a lot better from a $315 purchase to be honest.

I feel like mine might've been taken out of the box, but I'm not sure. A similar occurrence I had was with DX10, which had the chip and another part already in his head, and some other pieces seem like they've been handled before, but I purchased it really late during those times when one would pop up after being SOLD OUT for a day or two, so I figured it was one that was returned or something. Nevertheless, the flap on the box was partially ripped but I've seen that before. The cardboard outlining the figure and covering the hands had a crease on the top middle. Usually that happens when taking it out to see what's underneath, so I thought it was weird that it was creased already. And finally the T-1000 has some prints on it. Regardless, it is a really nice figure and I'm not going to bother exchanging it since it's EX.

Just curious, did anyone else have this issue?

Has anyone ever had this problem? I went to switch out the head and the entire plug that's inside the the rubber neck started to come out. I stopped where I was and pushed the plug back in but still managed to get the head off. Do you think the plug has come disconnected from the plastic structure underneath?

yes mate just push it back in will be ok

There should be another plug at the base of that neck mechanism. It's likely to have just came out but there could be a cracked plug too. Similar to the first night out Bruce Wayne Batman feet plugs.
