Don't panic guys. If you do the mod and don't like it. It's easy to put back the control stick. Just snap it back into place along with the plate and screw the screws back in. I've done it many times already, but I prefer to leave the control stick off.

You don't have to do anything with the PERS. If the way it comes suits you, then go with it.

I just think I got more movement and better PERS positioning now by removing the control stick that's all.

I don't think the PERS were reaching it's full potential before, especially moving the eyes to the side. Of course it had horrible looking down movement as well.

Like I said nothing I did screwed up the figure, head, PERS, etc. If I want too. I I can easily snap the control stick back into place, retighten the screws and presto, it will be as If I didn't even touch it to begin with.

The PERS setup is that easy to mod or undue and put back in it's original form for this sculpt anyway.

But for now I like it better with the freer movement, without the control stick. But that's just me.

so you did that for more free posing of eyes, not because they look in different sides? cause that was what i thought first.
if that was just for more freedom in movements, i get it, will definitely try on DX10 and DX13 when i get that long lever )

Hate to keep bumping my own posts but I'm really hoping someone can help me out here. Has anyone ever had a problem with any hot toys figure where one leg was longer/shorter than the other?

Is the knee joint on the longer leg in all the way? Thats the only thing i could think of, sometimes when they are build they arent pressed in all the way.

Yes that should more likely be it, i have had that on a figure or two.

Listen to these two, Nintenjoe. This was a common problem with the Dx09. I've had it happen to other figures too. Just get a firm grip on the longer leg and push upwards.

Or failing that pull out the shorter leg and stuff bluetack up into the socket then reinsert the lower leg.

Sooo let me ask you guys something. I have this guy POd at my local shop. SS converted my EX wait-list last night (as I mentioned earlier) which means I'll have to pay customs and shipping ($70-100 extra) just for a Robert Patrick head. I really wonder if I'd ever display it with the T-1000.

What would you guys do?

Mine is sealed in box... Both the t1000 and the Rob pat head. I dont intend to use any of that. I ordered ex cause it was the same cost for me as regular back then. I wont pay anything extra for that head. But that's just me. Although, if i do display the t1000 in the future i will probably display with the Rob pat head. Just cause i happen to have one.

My personal view they shld have given an extra body as exclusive ... Like they did for dx04 ... Would go a long way for me....

The RP head isn't too important to have, really. I guess it depends on the price at your LCS after taxes and if it's worth the difference to you.

I ended up getting the RP head because the exclusive is what Timcent happened to have first. I otherwise wasn't all that arsed.
