I still can't believe that's what they meant by "Mob Civillian Joker". I thought for sure it'd be a Jack Napier (regular Nicholson) or a flesh toned Mob scene Joker.


All those choices they showed . . .

Then again, I shouldn't be surprised given the language barrier. The Mime look IS with civilians on the city hall steps and he does mow down the mob with his men that are in disguises.

Difabio, I think they initially did plan for something different and fancier, but reigned it in after the sales from the first release became apparent. They probably think this is more interesting looking than flesh toned mob version.

I never thought I'd say this but I really want to see their Anakin Skywalker figure. Nearly 2 years since they first showed Luke.

And the fact that they are doing a 3rd figure from 1989 Batman makes me encouraged that they at least make the main 3 from Returns ( when they eventually get around to it ).

And if barebones accessories keeps the price down, I'm ok with that.

I think the figure looks cool. Most likely the next DX will be a Keaton Batman since they usually follow in chronological numbering order. Maybe we will get the Returns suit Batman. Either way I will get this and hopefully DX15 is a new Batman that I will have to get too.

I think a plain Jack Nicholson (no makeup) would be much appreciated by many people, Batman fans and Nicholson fans alike.

Yep, me too. Whatever HT makes from the film I'll buy. Mime Joker is in my top five choices so I'm ecstatic they're making him next. Always loved the look and his diologue in that scene.

This release totally came out of left field for me. I barely even remember the mime joker in the movie. The purple "89 Joker is still on my must have list, I don't think this one will make the cut. Maybe this will pull the price down on the DX08 even more and I can grab one for under 2 bills.

True, but I can't help but think a flesh face or smeared face would be more appealing then another white faced, green haired Joker.

Maybe it's just me, but I think those other options are WAAAAY cooler. The way they go about their DX releases is just weird.


So really, the only thing that makes a DX a DX is PERS and a big *** box.


Now, I know it's reserved for classic icons but as far as selection goes, they're all over the place. Some figures have two headsculpts when they shouldn't, some have alternate looks, some even have a whole other figure (like Luke)! It's just crazy. I wish what they did was a little more consistent.
