Museum Joker would be an instant buy for me. Still like this version but not sure if I'll pick it up.
Who knows for sure, even when giving 'concrete answers' to questions, Mr Chan throws in enough variables for the answer to mean anything, or the question has so many variables going in that you never really know which one he is answering.
Someone needs to sit down with him and not get swept away with fan love so that they cannot ask a few simple, direct but polite questions. For example...
Q - Will you still be doing BATMAN RETURNS 1:6 figures?
A - Yes
Q - Great, when?
...and so on. But certainly not..."Will you do this and this and this, oh and how about these? because if he answers 'Yes' exactly which one part of the question is that response directed at?
Sadly, all of the printed interviews I have read with him seem to fall into the 'this and this and this' category so no body really knows anything for sure.

Decided to put an order in for this guy with the $20 off SUMMEREND code from Sideshow. Always liked this scene from the film and the character has a weird/creepy look to him that I like. Plus I'm a Joker fan and wanted at least one Nicholson Joker. Hopefully the museum scene version is made eventually too.
My theory is this figure was probably designed as a con exclusive but they changed their minds because PERS = DX and they couldn't have a DX figure as a exclusive.
They've mentioned doing other Nicholson versions down the track - they even included a collage of stills in one release they did as a tentative indicator.
Where's Difabio? I'd have thought he'd answer that by now..
Basically a Jack Napier/Nicholson figure. Yes I'd be very very tempted by that.
And when he fails assume no interest in the line and cancel it
I think melty Joker would of been so much more better received and wanted. Regardless, I'm in for the duration with every Burton Batman release.
It always caught my eye as a kid, as well. Still does. I'll be honest when I say that I'm actually tempted to get this one over re-buying the DX08. I know the DX08 is more iconic, but, to me, the DX 08 seemed more like a companion piece (part of a set) to the DX09 than its own thing, if that makes any sense. This one is more of a one-off where you don't really need Batman standing by his side.

Who knows, might even come out when scheduled.
This is such a simple figure, it'd be hard to imagine it being delayed...
