Who knows for sure, even when giving 'concrete answers' to questions, Mr Chan throws in enough variables for the answer to mean anything, or the question has so many variables going in that you never really know which one he is answering.

Someone needs to sit down with him and not get swept away with fan love so that they cannot ask a few simple, direct but polite questions. For example...

Q - Will you still be doing BATMAN RETURNS 1:6 figures?
A - Yes
Q - Great, when?

...and so on. But certainly not..."Will you do this and this and this, oh and how about these? because if he answers 'Yes' exactly which one part of the question is that response directed at? :slap

Sadly, all of the printed interviews I have read with him seem to fall into the 'this and this and this' category so no body really knows anything for sure. :gah:

It does seem that the bulk of his questions/answers are specifically non-specific/generalized. Aggravatingly so.

Perhaps he's eyeing a career in politics when he's done with the high-end action doll racket? :lol

Yeah that latest interview would have made most politicians proud.

I think I would like to see a Mob Jack released next but I would take a Museum Joker for sure also.

They've mentioned doing other Nicholson versions down the track - they even included a collage of stills in one release they did as a tentative indicator.

Where's Difabio? I'd have thought he'd answer that by now.. :lol

Decided to put an order in for this guy with the $20 off SUMMEREND code from Sideshow. Always liked this scene from the film and the character has a weird/creepy look to him that I like. Plus I'm a Joker fan and wanted at least one Nicholson Joker. Hopefully the museum scene version is made eventually too.

My theory is this figure was probably designed as a con exclusive but they changed their minds because PERS = DX and they couldn't have a DX figure as a exclusive.

Do you have any more information on that coupon code? Doesn't seem to work for me.

Why not? It'd sell even better if they did that.

Yeah, first it was a question of "are we going to do more after this" with the DX 08.

Now the question was answered with the Mime Joker. Now that same insert is included without the question blurb for the DX 14 Joker.

Not to mention the "Civilian Mob" version has yet to see the light of day.

I'd say more variation/s are only a matter of time. I think in the latest QnA they mentioned more Joker variations when asked (though, that could apply to the Ledger Joker since they weren't specific).

I'm still holding out hope for these two,

Cheers for the info DiFabio. :clap

I think I would like to see a Mob Jack, 'I didn't ask' version as well from Hot Toys.

They could release that version of him from the beginning of the movie until his unfortunate accident at Axis Chemicals and also throw in a version of him from his youth, 'see you around kid'.

Basically a Jack Napier/Nicholson figure. Yes I'd be very very tempted by that.

I think it would probably be low on Hot Toys 'to do' box for Jack's Joker but then again I suppose you could have said the same thing for the Mime version.

We are speculating on any future Jack Joker releases and knowing how Hot Toys operate they will probably release a Laurence figure next.

And when he fails assume no interest in the line and cancel it :lol

:rotfl

It is probably cancelled after Mime Jack is released anyways. I'm really expecting some of the future HT figures to have loose Iron Man parts in the box with the amount they must be producing from that franchise.

That is probably why they have not yet responded to my email for the last two weeks, they are to busy busting out these Iron Man figures.

I pre-ordered due to the fact that I like the black and white color scheme set off by the makeup and hair.

Who knows, might even come out when scheduled.

I think melty Joker would of been so much more better received and wanted. Regardless, I'm in for the duration with every Burton Batman release.

It always caught my eye as a kid, as well. Still does. I'll be honest when I say that I'm actually tempted to get this one over re-buying the DX08. I know the DX08 is more iconic, but, to me, the DX 08 seemed more like a companion piece (part of a set) to the DX09 than its own thing, if that makes any sense. This one is more of a one-off where you don't really need Batman standing by his side.

The important factor for me was having a non-purple suit actually. The monochrome with the head sculpt ramp up the creepiness factor. (And I loves me some creepy figures) My purple suit Joker is DX 11 and this will be my Jack Joker.

It covers all the bases and that way I won't have to sell one of my kidneys on the black market to get DX 09 to go with DX 08.
