Hot Toys- DX14- Mime version Joker... didn't see this coming!

I asked Sideshow first because I thought the same thing. It's legit.

So now I'm certain that the DX 13 Terminator and this guy are arriving on my door step the same day.

Two Dx's in one day?

Fortunately it came ou of the box the right way.

Unpacked and on display. I may haveto move stuff around agai. Any excuse to sort of play with these figures. Mime Joker is very cool. It just oozes quality.

Yeah, I don't know why HT made it bigger but it's very noticeable next to the 08. The purple hat won't even fit on the one I got. The difference from the little tufts of hair above his ears to the sides of his head is also not as much as the 08. That's why I decided it really didn't need a sculpt adjustment.

I can understand why the head sculpt would be wider since the DX08 face was too skinny for Jack to be from the 89 film s he was chubby in that like the sculpt is on this figure. However, I don't get why the head would be bigger in height as well.

I think the point is that HT have been making undersized heads for quite a while now? Just generally too small for the bodies. They seem to be fixing things. This Joker head is much better proportionally than the previous one, it's bigger overall. The new DX13 Terminator head is bigger and better too.

Now, if they just start making the feet and boots a bit smaller, we will be in 1/6th heaven.

I think the DX08 head size was about perfect size. Not a perfect Jack Joker sculpt but definitely not undersized. In fact the only grossly undersized HT sculpt I've ever owned was the Dent/Two Face sculpt. I can't think of another I've ever owned or saw pics of that I considered undersized.

Now,the Mime sculpt, I consider it TOO big. Borderline Sideshow size. Its a great sculpt though.
