Actually it makes perfect sense within the context of the announcement and sales of certain figures. Back when BR was announced, the Batman 89 figure was released, selling well, Marvel was not nearly what it is today and Iron man was considered just another super hero...however times have changed, and you guys have bought into the Marvel/Iron Man crap and thus the sales of those items have gone through the roof, and as time has gone on, BR keeps getting pushed more and more to the back burner. Hot Toys is a business and they are in this business to sell figures, that's the bottom line.

As long as you guys gush over ANYTHING new that is released by Hot toys, why would they risk putting out a figure that is based off of a twenty something years old movie...

P.s. There are many on here who are in awe of the Igor Iron Man (fake Hulk Buster) figure. Seriously?!!! Who really wants that?! I will never understand that!

I'm a "you guy" but I do hope we see the PO for this soon. Im in for any Burton HT they manage to make.

I'm sure Howard wants to do this line, he's a HUGE 80s Movies fan... I HOPE SOON MEANS SOON this time! :lol

Your know what? I love both of my HT 89 figures, I got the 89 Batmobile as well. Both Neca releases (not the Videogame figure) and an amazing statue that I'm being charged for in 6 days. I feel lucky I have these many Keaton collectibles. To be honest, I never thought we'd get this many.

Howard Chan has my permission to go **** himself. I'll take what I got.

They shouldn't announce a license until product is 6-12 months from being shown. They shouldn't tease something unless it's a day to two months from being shown.

This thing they do doesn't build anticipation like it should, it builds up frustration. What happened to those days where we got a random Tech Noir T-800 teaser and then THE NEXT DAY the preorder specs/pics went up. No license announcement, no yearly teaser BS. Just, hey, can you guess what this is and then, BAM, here it is.

How about the Hot Toys '89 Batman license? License announced Dec/Jan. The Joker and Batmobile revealed 6 months later, then Batman and Joker go up for order a mere three weeks later and then Batman shipped in hand by January of 2012. The entire process took about a year from license announcement, prototype preview to finally spec/pics.

^^Agreed. I hate that they spring up things sometimes without notice, and it makes it really hard to prepare and plan what to save up for. Sometimes, when I finally decide to buy something, a few days later after ordering, a newer version or something that was never shown before gets announced and it screws up my plans! :lol

They keep things too secretive! Now I'm relegated to the waiting game and praying that certain items don't go to waitlist, especially coveted EX ones.

They really killed the momentum of the Guardians of the Galaxy line with this Drax exclusion BS. What was so hard about getting him out in time by the GOTG Blu ray release at least? Now I see a lot of people passing on the idea of having the whole team. That was easy money right there, especially with the fast turn around of Star Lord.

Hot Toys had everyone there at the show, the entire team! They could have been at the prison uniform variations or Ronan the Destroyer or Yondu by now. But nope, "hey, here's Thanos!".

It frustrated me to the point that I seriously just don't care anymore. Make no mistake, I'd still get it, but I'm just not looking forward to it anymore....

I'd probably wait for double rewards, discounts, etc.

Same. I'm also sitting on $300 in rewards that I eagerly want to use on Returns Batman. I was going to use it on Robocop/Murphy 2 pack, but I want to get that experience of getting a figure for free.

It just boggles my mind that this Batman Returns line was in development before a lot of these things even existed. Iron Man 3 wasn't even around. Disney hadn't bought Star Wars. Guardians of the Galaxy wasn't a thing. Avengers 2? Heh, Avengers 1 wasn't even out yet! Yet here we are with dozens upon dozens of those figures, in hand. Crazy. At the rate we're headed, we can add Episode 7, Batman vs. Superman and Captain America: Civil War to that list.

The friggin' 1989 Batmobile (which had to have been a developmental nightmare for Hot Toys from concept to product shipment) had a faster output than ONE Batman figure. :lol

I've never actually thought of it in that light, but, now that you mention it, that is kind of insane, and it's the extensiveness of all those lines, too, that's crazy. Thanos, Igor; some of these figures have literally had only seconds of screen time.

Honestly, I don't even see where the Returns figures or Ripley fit in the future at this point.

Spring is right around the corner and they have a dozen Age of Ultron figures that have yet to debut. There's no doubt that is this years main priority. Every week will be a different Avengers character. That'll play out for atleast 2-3 months until Summer/Fall where it'll be the big . . . Star Wars: Force Awakens push!!! Parred with the ever looming presence of Original Trilogy Star Wars and then the shift to DC Batman and Superman for 2016, I really have a hard time seeing where they'll get their moment.

Hell, that's not even counting their weird decisions like that "Hot Angel" Anime Alien figure that will no doubt be sprinkled throughout the year.

Is it possible that after Birdman, Keaton doesn't want to release his likeness as Batman?

And you guys all lap it up :monkey3

Well said! With the exception of my posts that's probably the only truthful thing said in this entire forum. People here keep saying "duh I don't understand...where is my Batman? Whats with all the Marvel figure?!" When its actually very simple, its too simple...
