I fear that Disney will end up buying Hot Toys and these DC characters will never see the light of day. It's already so lopsided its crazy.

Well considering Marvel puts out 25x the movies and these are movie based figures, that's why one has so many more. Once the DC universe gets goin, and if it's successful, the numbers will be much closer. If the figures sell hot toys will make them.

Oh god, more new DC stuff on top of new Marvel stuff? And Star Wars?

That just makes Batman Returns even less likely.

Hot Toys, can I haz another teaser for this line pls?

3 years, THREE years! All the things that can be done in that amount of time and all you've shown for that time is a single figure just standing there. If you aren't going to reveal them any time soon, at least post a pic of him in an action pose with a "coming soon" thing or something. Jeez. :lol

Or better yet, just say "hey, we're not doing it, the line is cancelled". Something. I really wish we could get some insight on why they announced this crap back in January of 2012. From a marketing/advertisement it ended up making zero sense. That 1/4 Police Shootout T-800 announcement in retrospect is also beyond baffling.

Actually it makes perfect sense within the context of the announcement and sales of certain figures. Back when BR was announced, the Batman 89 figure was released, selling well, Marvel was not nearly what it is today and Iron man was considered just another super hero...however times have changed, and you guys have bought into the Marvel/Iron Man crap and thus the sales of those items have gone through the roof, and as time has gone on, BR keeps getting pushed more and more to the back burner. Hot Toys is a business and they are in this business to sell figures, that's the bottom line.

As long as you guys gush over ANYTHING new that is released by Hot toys, why would they risk putting out a figure that is based off of a twenty something years old movie...

P.s. There are many on here who are in awe of the Igor Iron Man (fake Hulk Buster) figure. Seriously?!!! Who really wants that?! I will never understand that!

Why do you keep stating "you guys buy Iron Man", "you guys gush over everything new that comes out" implying that it's "our" faults.

I haven't bought a single Iron Man or Marvel Hot Toys figure (save for their older Spider-Man movie figures). I haven't supported it. I've only bought Terminator, Robocop and Batman figures.

The last release I was excited about was Battle Damaged Robocop/Alex Murphy, which happens to be from a 28 year old movie.

I have to remind myself that a figure from a thirty year old comedy is already up for preorder. The popularity of Marvel movies has had an impact on HT products but classic pop figures are still being made. They'll get to Returns...eventually.

I was going to type almost the exact same thing. I don't understand all the "you guys" rubbish. I've not bought a single marvel figure. My collecting is geared towards mostly DC characters and some classic, pop culture type stuff. But instead of replying I just decided to put him/her on ignore. Can't be doing with that nonsense anymore. I'm positive that it's all just to get a response out of people anyway.

I think we are just severely outnumbered when compared to the Marvel collectors. The only thing on PO i have at the moment is BD Robo & Marty McFly. And outside of this I would PO Ripley as soon as she is up for PO.

I'm a "you guy" but I do hope we see the PO for this soon. Im in for any Burton HT they manage to make.
