HT probably saw the wealth of customs based on this look (endgame) and thought there was money to be had.

They probably saw how much ppl were paying for the custom version of this outfit and wanted to get in on the action. If this does make it through to production, he'll probably come with one armored hand for when he get the tesseract

Even the headsculpt looks exactly like the custom that people have.
Custom figure guessing the price for the tie (likely made by DinoDinoya), the custom outfit, the custom shoes, the custom sunglasses, the head sculpt, and getting it painted, this HT will probably cost 30% of what they had to pay. Quality wise the customs will be better but yeah...~

Kind of wild to see another Tony variant. Like I know some people want this specific one and I'm a maniac myself for the actual armors, but right now you can get IM1 workshop Tony, IM2 racetrack Tony, and time suit Tony all for decently less than retail, depending when/where you shop, and it's hard to imagine this one being chosen by someone over any of those. But maybe those are just all carryover from that Endgame era where they overproduced everything.
